Located just next to the crazy long queue money changer at Chinatown's People Park Complex, this has got to be the best durian pancake you ever get for just... $1.50 - $2. They even have the option of having the normal size one or, if you are feeling very 'durian-ish' that day, you can even upsize the durian pancake to the JUMBO size (which really is, very gigantic). I had the durian jumbo pancake one of cos, since their specialty is the local favorite, DURIAN. If you doesn't want your mouth to stink after savoring the pancake (or don't make it even more stinky from your original stinky mouth...) you can opt for the other exotic flavors available there. Go see for yourself and decide what you want!Anyway back to the pancake. The pancake skin is very extremely crispy! I don't know the super friendly lady boss do it but it just taste sooooo crispy till you can hear the "crack crack" sound when you bite into it. Not those very thick pancake skin you buy from outside, cos you will just taste the flour taste and not the star of the food, DURIAN. They are very particular about the quality of their durian used and will changed every now and then once there's negative feedback from their customers. At last a shop which listen to the feedback from the customers!Well for the durian used, I love it. It is not very sweet like other places (sugar added!) but tasted very natural and original. The durian smell is strong but yet it smell so good (and taste too!)Not a fan of pancake? Nevermind. They have durian tapioca (what!) too which taste as good. There's even all sorts of durian snacks available to satisfy your craving for durianssss! continue reading

Other than their famous and signature durian pancakes (available not only in durian but also assorted flavors such as chocolate, butter, kaya etc...) now this stall is selling something interesting - coconut ice cream boat! With 2 scoops of pure coconut ice cream, you get to choose 4 (or 6 toppings at additional price) toppings to go with it. There are A LOT of toppings for you to choose and it is a difficult choice for me (they are all my favorites!) In the end I chose atap seeds, red beans, peanuts, sweet corns and nata de coco. The ice cream is very refreshing, does not taste heavy and very sweet, sweetness is just nice. Now I got another choice of dessert (other than durian pancake) to choose from! continue reading

I even introduced my friends to eat this stall because it is my family favourite durian pancake stall It is because the durian inside is nevertheless different from other stalls in Singapore. The mixture of durian taste is really good and fresh pure durian. And they made on the spot therefore eat while it is hot. It is supposed to taste crispy and the filling is chilled. It will remain as my favourite. continue reading

Walked past this shop while on my way to the train station. Realized that they sell durian pancake and ordered one to try. As I have tasted durian pancake from other places, I thought I would just order the big one ($2.50) to try.The pancake was made on the spot. While the pancake was still on the hot plate, thick durian paste from the fridge was spreaded onto the pancake. Final product tasted really good. Warm on the outside due to the hot plate and cold on the inside because they kept the durian paste inside the fridge. I like how generous the servings of durian paste was. continue reading

I love love love durians! The durian pancakes are made on the spot so you can be assured that you'll get the freshest pancake that is right from the stove! Best to be eaten on the spot whereby the pancake is still crispy and the filling is chilled! However, the durian filling seems to have a bit too much cream in it and the filling is rather little. Overall, although not the best durian pancake I've tried, it can still help to satisfy your craving for durians! continue reading
