Subway

Subway has a wide variety of sandwiches that are fresh and relatively healthy as compared to other fast food outlets. The breads are freshly made so they are fluffy and moist, with a crisp exterior that provides crunch and textural contrast if you get your bun toasted. Get the teriyaki chicken bun to try which contains chunks of juicy flavourful chicken with a really tasty teriyaki sauce.

Haven't eaten subway for a looooong time, hence decided to grab a bite after shopping at Jurong Point in the afternoon with my bffs.

There was a promotion going on at Subway, where one can order the Veggie Delite/Ham/Tuna/Egg Mayo 6-inch sub for only $5 PLUS a drink Obviously, I was not gonna miss my chance.

The queue was relatively short (only 2 peeps in front) so i took the chance to choose which bread i want.
Breads:
1) Wheat
2) Italian
3) Hearty Italian
4) Parmesan Oregano
5) Honey Oat
6) Wrap

I went for the classic Wheat Bread (toasted)and requested for loads of veggies except for the jalapenos, pickles and olives. The sauce was Yellow Mustard. Ordered the usual coke for my drink~Conclusion: Yellow Mustard was given TOO much..hence tasted a bit icky after a while..BUT the bread was delicious with the fresh veggies. Awesome Meal!

After eating all the unhealthy stuff for the previous ocassions when I eat out, I decided to go for a healthier option by having subway for dinner. I ordered the turkey breast sub on its own, with all the veggies and extra serving of tomatoes since tomatoes are good for the skin. I requested for no sauce for minimize the calories and even without the sauce, the sub is still very tasty, with the natural saltiness from the turkey breast and the freshness of the veggies. Subway is still one of my top choices for healthy meals!

I had my lunch at subway this afternoon. The food was taste great and it's healthy to eat. Everything was baked no fried food, you can choose the bread , filling, vegetables and sauce. I love the daily promotion, it's at a affordable price $4.50 cause usual meal is around $6-8plus. There is cookies too, the cookies is chewy and freshly baked. If you want to have a healthy meal Subway is a best choice!

i simply love subway’s subway melt. Most of the time I will buy a footlong and share it with my mum. She is also a fan of their subway melt. This time there was nobody at home to share the footlong so I settled for 6 inch. I opted for honey oat bread cos I love the oats that coats the bread. The bacon and ham is so tasty. love the saltiness of these two meat. I always have my sub toasted with cheese. Simply love the melted cheese taste. I will ordered the honey mustard and olive oil as my dressings. The olive oil give the sub a smoother taste. I love subway’s concept of choosing your favourite toppings and dressings. It really engages the customers better.

Subway is having a promotion for the Teriyaki Chicken 6-inch Sub meal so I had it for dinner. As usual, I didn't want any vegetables or sauce. The Teriyaki chicken has a small amount of sauce. The sauce smelled like the Chilli Crab filling. Didn't taste the sauce b/c it was overpowered by the cheese. The Teriyaki Chicken was all right actually. I prefer the roasted chicken over the Teriyaki Chicken.

I decided to satisfy my craving for subway and got the foot long chicken breast. My choice of bread was hearty italian. I got mine with extra cheese, olives, lettuce, mayonnaise, honey mustard and chipotle. It was my first time trying olives and I must say that it tastes really good. The mayonnaise was oozing out from the sandwich. It was indeed a very hearty meal.

Decided to give subway's chilli crab sub a try. They are having a promotional deal that's $6.50 and it includes a 6-inch double chilli crab sub, 1 cookie and 1 small drink. Its probably one of the best deal subway has to offer at this moment.

They seriously gave a lot of chilli crab meat and on the first bite, it was interesting. Anyone could tell from the first bite that that's just imitation crab meat but the sauce that's covering the meat actually tasted a lot like crab! I was starting to like it then halfway through the 6-inch sub, I just got sick of it. Not that it wasn't delicious..but eating 6-inch of imitation crab meat is hard even if its covered with tasty crab sauce.

Although I kind of got sick of it, personally, i think its worth trying and worth the money. Its very filling and its not even spicy so everyone can try it!

I love snacking on Subway's cookies. Although most of the cookies revolve around chocolate, I can never get sick of them. The White Chip Macadamia Nut cookie in particular is refreshing. The cookie consists of sweet melted white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts. Only problem I have with the cookie is the inconsistent amount of macadamia nuts. Sometimes there is only 1 in the whole cookie. It is the perfect snack at only $1.20 or 3 for $2.90.

Subway allows their customer to customise the sub (sandwich) they want. Firstly, we get to choose the type of bread we want. I love both their wheat and honey oat bread and will normally stick to either of these bread. Although I can hardly taste the difference between bread, the honey oat bread tends to have a nice strong bread smell.

Then we'll choose the filling. I chose the toasted chicken breast because its thick and filled with nothing but tastiness! The chicken breast is not too dry (Most of the time. Sometimes it can be pretty dry) and goes well with the cheese.

I'm not a big fan of vegetables therefore there's no vegetables in my sub. However, you can choose from a wide variety (pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc) to add into your sub. The last step of the ordering process is to choose the sauce! I'll normally order for honey mustard as its the healthier option and its reasonably good. I'll tell the people too not put too much sauce though b/c the sauce tends to flow to the end of the sub and the last bite of the sub always consist of too much sauce and the taste is too overwhelming

The price of your sub will vary depending on the filling you choose. For this particular 6-inch sub I had, it costs only $4.50 on Mondays and $5.50 on other days!

I love snacking on Subway cookies. They offer a wide variety of flavours including: Chocolate chips, M&Ms, double chocolate chips etc. Suitable for chocolate lovers like me!

The highlight of Subway's cookies is the softness. The unique texture makes their cookies stand out from normal cookies that are crunchy. The cookie is filed with melted chocolate chips that goes well with the cookie. It is a perfect snack to snack on for tea breaks as the cookie is relatively big.

You can purchase 1 Subway cookie at a low price of $1.20 or 3 at $2.90. I highly recommend people to try it!

Was at Jurong point for some work with a colleague. My colleague was feeling very hungry so he wanted a early lunch and he suggested subway.

So we headed subway for our lunch. This subway outlet at Jurong Point is rather small, seems really packed and the queue way rather long during lunch hour.

I have ordered subway melt with honey oat bread. And have ordered all the ingredients except green chilli and pickles. The ingredients were all very fresh and they were rather generous with the ingrdients! Really a satisfying and healthy meal!

I love subway because of it's delicious sandwiches. I dare to say it's the best sandwiches in the world. Because other than that, i only eat sandwiches made by myself so .. never mind. I prefer Chicken ranch sandwich than the rest because the breast meat is amazing. I never like breast meat because it's always so hard and dry. But the breast meat in subway tastes nothing like the normal ones, it tastes more than drumstick meat. Soft and chewy. ( i am not sure if it's definitely a breast meat but i do remember reading it somewhere..) I order all the veggies and makes it more worthy to eat it. I like the taste of everything.

On a side note, it doesn't look appealing though and it requires lots of skill to eat it because all the ingredients will always try to escape from the bread. But it never fails to satisfy my appetite.

Oh, it's a little bit pricey as well. But i still love it.

I bought the 'sub of the day' for wednesday which is the meatball marinara. Normally, i will order together with a drink & cookies with a top up of just $2+. Not sure if anyone realize but there's something unique about the 'double chocolate' cookies in subway. The chocolate chips are always half melted unlike those from famous amos whereby the chocolate chips are hardened. For the sandwich, i prefer the fresh taste of it right after its prepared. I love hearty italian bread! I made the mistake of eating after abt 30minutes later (after i came out from bath). The bread turned soggy already.

No wonder subway's slogan is 'Eat Fresh'.
