My parents and I went around Arab Street for a walk and then under that hot sunny afternoon, we decided to have some authentic Turkish coffee for tea-time. That was my first time ever trying it.We ordered each a cup and a dessert to go along. Was told not to stir the coffee and just drink straight from the cup because the coffee powder is underneath and if you stir, u are drinking along with powder. I guess that is the unique part of Turkish coffee. The aromatic smell coming for the cup with a mixed feeling after a sip. There is a subtle sweetness from it but taste so different from any normal coffee. I love it. As for the dessert, it is a little too sweet, and flaky on the outer layer. A good experience for those coffee lovers. You can try sheesha there too. continue reading

If you've never had any Turkish food before and you're looking for quality Turkish food, this is a great place to go! Sufi has quite a large variety of food to offer, but I ordered two different kebab dishes to try. I'll recommend grabbing the mixed kebab platter, although its pricier as it offers a good mix of different meats for you to try. The kebab are all really tasty and marinated really well with the spices. A generous portion of meat plus the juiciness and taste of it makes it all worth it. Do try their other food such as their stew and pizza, as well as their turkish tea! continue reading

Wanted to ditch the tea and decided to have some turkish coffee during tea time.hehe. Initially, when I was browsing through the menu,I had no intention of drinking tea,but my friend forced me to try something new so i thought why not? When the coffee came,i got a shock. The cup was tiny!!!!!! My friend and I gave each other the look. They say "good things come in small packages" so i decided not to give any comment till i tried it. I tried it and i hated it. It was too bitter!!Quite disappointing and that tiny cup of coffee tasted a bomb so I wouldn't recommend their coffee but their food is pretty good though! continue reading
