Visited Thomson Plaza and saw this sushi Tei. Because of timing, lucky the waiting time was short. Ordered the Favourite kaisen nabemono Seafood pot. Consists of tofu , scallops, prawns, vegetables accompanied with spicy 🌶 soup. The serving like a hot stove with a metal pot. ($29.50)Additional mini golden roll. It so filling and nice visual effect too. ($11.90)Follow by Kagobelly Uzura like satay stick. But belly with cheese. It smell good too. ($10.80). continue reading

All along i always like Sushi Tei for affordable and yummy japanese food. Last night i was at Thomson Plaza branch with my family for my dad's birthday dinner. Thanks to the $40 vouchers which i redeemed from OpenRice + the $60 vouchers from my membership card ( it's great i can combine all together to use it ), i saved a lot for last night dinner. Only have to top up $23!As you can see from the picture, i tried having this crab fried rice for the first time and it's good! Good flavour and quite enjoyable. I shared this so i won't overeat. Haha!I love yellowtail and the ones at Sushi Tei never disappoint. Last night got a platter which consist of salmom, tuna and yellowtail. The sushi rolls and chicken skewers and other items were great. My grandma was enjoying herself which really delighted us to see her happy with the food =)Overall it's a great place for dinner regardless whether you are dining alone, with friends or family. continue reading

- Yosenabe (seafood & vegetable hot pot), $12.80Since I do not eat uncooked food, i.e. sashimi etc, I ordered the seafood & vegetable hot pot. I was disappointed at the blackish-looking pot it was served in. Thankfully, the food within was at least good. There was plenty of fresh seafood within - salmon belly, scallops, squid, prawns, together with glass noodles, enoki mushrooms and other vegetables in a tasty miso base soup. A healthy, satisfying meal continue reading

for photos and more reviews, visit http://thelittlemomentsofmylife.blogspot.com (:Sushi Tei's sashimi salad ($9) drizzled with Sushi Tei's SECRET RECIPE sauce is mind-blowingly awesome!! the veggies are fresh and crisp, and the sashimi is just lovely. there are a few types of sauces for you to chose, but why go for the others when the sushi tei sauce is just soooo good?another big draw for me at sushi tei would be their fried garlic rice ($8). i have found no other place which is able to produce garlic rice of such high standards. so far, in my opinion, it is unbeatable. but please please comment and tell me if you know of any awesome place to rival this ok!! (: (: the garlic rice here is so fragrant, you can't help but salivate just smelling the dish. yummm! every moist grain of rice is suffused with the aroma of garlic. the red ginger slices and other ingredients just add to the flavour of the dish.usually we order a plate of sushi to share when we come here, but it is not the main attraction, unlike the two lovelies above (: nevertheless, i like sushi tei's interesting take on sushi. they have a few interesting ones like the golden roll ($14) we ordered this time. it's sushi containing a nicely fried king prawn, wrapped with mango and topped with fish roe! the sweetness of the mango and savoury prawn go surprisingly well with each other, and this is a lovely dish to behold. the presentation is so pretty! (:and of course, we can never miss out teriyaki when we're at a japanese restaurant! i just LOVE that sauce! (: we ordered teriyaki salmon ($10). there is also the option of shio salmon, but why would you just want a salted fish, when you can enjoy the sauce-y version?! okay, maybe it's just me. i love and NEED sauce ;) which is why i loved this dish because the amount of sauce was so generous! and the fish was cooked just perfectly, nice and soft yum! continue reading

Everytime I visit Sushi Tei, I will start with their Sashimi Salad. The Salmon sashimi is fresh and it's my favourite ! Meat Gyoza, Mango Tara. Roll and Garlic Rice. 1st tried their Garlic Rice... erm, quite surprising ! It's really nice. After served, we finished it within 5 mins. Lol, strongly recommend their Garlic Rice. Those who always go Sushi tei knew that their Mango Tara. Roll is nice and special. Fresh mango roll continue reading
