Sushi Tei has always been one of my fav sushi places. I had a heavy breakfast and was looking for something small to have for lunch, hence I headed to Sushi Tei with my friend.Salmon Sashimi I don't usually order salmon sashimi when I'm at Sushi Tei, since I usually get my fix at Sakuraya Fish Mart. However I was craving for it and was surprised that it tastes just as good as the ones from Sakuraya (somehow I always had the impression that the sashimi from Sakuraya wo...

My Favour Sushi place is sushi tei. This amazing sushi dragon roll which is ebi with avocado. It's simple but it taste so good. The blend of Sushi rice with fried ebi and avocado makes the perfect combination. The Avocado makes the sushi so moist and the ebi is fried to perfection.

smile The crunchy and addictive Sushi Tei Ebi Tempura (Prawn Tempura) was my snack and nibble during a recent shopping trip to Vivo City. Priced at S$11.00 for six pieces of classic ultra light battered prawns to soothe my tea break craving. What makes a good crispy tempura is the creation of temperature between the batter and the oil. Since day one, Sushi Tei standard of preparing Ebi Tempura remain unchanged. Keep it up. On top of this, it seemed that all ...

salmon sushi $3.80 the salmon was lightly smoked on top with some big and juicy fish roes. worth a try even though it's quite expensive! tonkatsu ramen $13 the ramen looked really milky but did not taste very milky. The soup was good but the ramen looked like instant ramen. The katsu was very touch and too dry, not at all moist. The only thing good was that the batter was really thin so the meat could be savoured easily.hon maguro don $13 Bluefin tuna sashimi! There were 5 pi...

We go shopping at Vivocity and has cravings for Japanese food. We decide to have early dinner to avoid the crowd. Sushi Tei at Vivocity always has long queue and we are glad to be shown to our table after queuing for around 5 mins. Fiish roe chawanmushi, I quite like the chawanmushi at Sushi Tei, it is smooth and has strong egg taste, the serving of the fish roe is a lot and nice. This is so unique, Golden Roll. Crispy tempura prawn with sushi rice wrapped with mango stripes...

Sashimi Salad $9 Nohing special about this dish but this is great for people who wish to eat clean and are health-conscious. It also makes a great dish for dieting.Fried Rice with zuwai crab $14 the price is slightly steep but reasonable as the crab legs were authentic. The fried rice was not oily and was flavourful too.Grilled Squid with teriyaki sauce $9 the squid was chewy but could be swallowed easily and was not tough. The teriyaki sauce was a great complement to the gr...

Sushi tei is one of tne of the most popular Japanese food chains in Singapore, it is definitely worth visiting the branch at Vivo City as it has ample parking spaces. Sushi Tei, along with ichiban boshi, is one of the better japanese food chains, and their desserts are not bad as well. This time, I tried their famous golden roll - sushi shaped like a prawn, wrapped with mango and topped with fish roe. I got the mini one for around $11. I like the sweet and savory combination, which brings out the taste of the prawn. Presentation was also good and appealing. I would think the normal sized one is more worth it for $16. The salmon handroll was quite...

This is my favourite Sushi restaurant Sushi Tei, my favourites include the scallops with the mayonnaise, salmon sashimi, grilled teriyaki beef, the rice sets etc. Food-wise, the ingredients are fresh and taste as authentic as any other Japanese restaurants in Singapore, quality is reasonable for the price. In summary, I will return here. Some patience needed initially, but once seated and the food is flowing it's a pleasant dining experience!
