Talent Café

Hokkien New Year, celebrated on the 8th day of Chinese new year in full splendour with fireworks and offerings to Jade Emperor in Penang (My mother's brother's house). Unfortunately, I have to start work on 30 January 2012.

We found the cafe had delicious potential because we still deciding on the perfect venue for celebrating this day, so my friend (Mr. Roderick Tan) drove me to that place.

Talent Cafe is a relatively new café/bistro located at the end of Tras Street in Tanjong Pagar (is a melting pot where creative minds and food come together). To most, it's a place to meet for good food and great company. This 2-strorey cafe is a space we can describe as 'artistic'.

For the mains, they had one of the best dish called Marrakash, an oven-baked chicken in wine. We enjoyed this dish due to the chicken drumsticks stewed to a tender in red wine sauce,

Talking about food served, it includes Italian pasta, salads and desserts which changes seasonally.

I pay just $29/pax, instead of $64.10/pax for an extravagant 5-course Dinner at Talent Cafe. Although the voucher valid till 24 Jan 2012 that I purchased from SuperDeals by inSing.com, Mr. Glynn allowed me to extend until 30 January 2012 after telling him on 19 January 2012 regarding my return to hometown in Ipoh during Chinese New Year from 20 January 2012 to 27 January 2012.

Indeed, Talent Cafe's key attraction lies not just in its location in this artist's enclave, but also in its contemporary and cosy interior.

Conclusion: The Service Crew are serving with knowledge or experience in F&B. They are able to work independently and demonstrate initiative.

Thanks for the service and nice food! We love the ambience, the music and etc. We had great fun there. Therefore, I am spreading the love to everyone in the Internet now.
