Signature Dishes
Attracted by the sign board, I decided to try out this roasted pork stall. I ordered the roasted pork and char siew (BBQ pork) rice. The gravy is very well seasoned and rich, very delicious. The roasted pork has crispy skin and nice to bite on, the meat itself is quite juicy despite the fact that it's been roasted for long. The char siew on the other hand is slightly dry, but tastes not bad still.

I was around the area for lunch and decided to try the char siew rice at Tan Kee's Roasted shop. The roasted meat attracted me to the shop as they looked juicy and delicious. I ordered a plate of char siew rice which costs $3.50. The portion was satisfying to fill my stomach. The roasted meat tasted great with the sweet sauce and I enjoyed the meal.

The char siew is the lean type and not fatty, just to my liking. For those who prefer char siew with some fat in it, might have to ask the uncle for it. The roasted meat is well seasoned and very tasty with the layer of crispy skin and very well roasted. A perfect mix of lean char siew and roasted meat. Only 'complain' I had was the sauce was a tad too little. Would definitely remember to ask the uncle for more sauce the next time I order.
