Came here to hide from the heat, and wait for the wings of time show to start. My Japanese friends visiting Singapore who loved their first chicken rice experience at maxwell insisted to try the Hainanese steam chicken rice set here. I ordered laksa but thy ran out of Kway Teow so it was just the yellow noodles. I asked for it to be cooked less spicy as I can't eat spicy food. But when it came it was too spicy for me, I asked if I could get it changed. The waitress Irene was very polite and checked with the manager who agreed to let me swap it to a fried mee goreng. Best decision ever! The mee goreng was wet, very tasty and also had a tinge of wok hei! Delicious prawns, squid, fish cake, Chinese sausage, and tomatoes in the noodles made it a winner!! The manager Jacqueline also came around to check if everything was okay and apologized. Great service!! My friend ordered the ayam penyet and they served it with the rice from the chicken rice. The rice was fragrant and not too oily. The chicken rice was decent. The dining area was huge and very cool, due to their strong fans and AC.

Just attended an event which I am given a food voucher that I could use it at this restaurant. The place is quite crowded as everyone from the event comes over for dinner. But the turnover is fast, service is fast too.I am having fish & chips and iced lemon tea. The tea does not have lemon taste but taste not bad. The fish is quite fresh and crispy, but abit too oily. The coleslaw is a bit too dry.

Located in the tourist site of Singapore, this restaurant offers cheap and good food as compared to its surroundings. What's more- it has different type of food all around Asia: Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, China, India and Singapore. My friends and I stepped in for our lunch and ordered the following dishes: FOODOne of the famous type of noodle that originated from China. The la mian is accompanied with tiny pieces of minced pork and a tasty gravy sauce. Cost of dish: $7.80This fried rice taste rather normal at a price of $8. Singapore's Mee Goreng that comes with fish cake, onion, egg and prawn. Gives a soury feel initially to your taste bud which opens up your appetite! Cost of dish: $7.80This dish is too salty unless accompanied with rice. Cost of dish:$4.80 This vegetable is just like any normal ka kong outside. Cost of dish: $5.80My favourite dish of the day! It's very crispy and has the prawn-like paste - Awfully delicious! Cost of dish: $5.80Homemade ice-lemon tea. I love the way the drink is placed in a jar-like glass. Very special indeed! SERVICEThe service staffs are friendly and polite. One of their staff was especially observant. On seeing that the four of us were sharing the food, he took 4 plates for us immediately. PRICEA cheap restaurant as compared to the other restaurants in SentosaAMBIENCESituated a stone's throw away from the beach, it's a great place to rest your legs after some beach activities. And it's also an ideal place if you would like to take a stroll after lunch/dinner!

Personally, I felt that it's a great idea to have a restaurant that sells Asia food at our hottest tourist attraction spot in Sentosa instead of just having the usual fast food restaurants. This way, tourists from all over the World can get to try the unique flavours of Asia food too. For myself, I've also decided to try the food here instead of getting the fast food. I ordered a Ayam Penyet set which looks delicious on the menu. It was a BIG mistake and a great disappointment when the food arrived. This dish should just be renamed to be called Chicken Drumstick rice instead. They served the Ayam Penyet using our usual Chicken Rice and with the chicken rice orange chili sauce. This is definitely not what I'm expecting. The most unique features of Ayam Penyet is their Sambal belacan chili that can jerks tears out not this type of Chicken Rice Chili sauce. So even though the chicken rice is rather tasty and the chicken drumstick is yummy, I felt cheated. Asked for some black sauce and the young lad told me they don't have but we didn't believe him so we asked another female waitress and she went to get for us. Another downpoint here is there is totally no reception once inside the restaurant. If you want to make a call, you better make the call outside before coming in. Bad experience.
