Tonight I am redeeming a 2 plates of St Louis pork ribs and a banana split voucher which I have bought earlier online at a cost of $30.95. Not much people dinning in the place. The place is very quiet.Soup of the day (chicken soup) + garlic bread

Both plates are served with coleslaw and fries. The ribs are very tender with soft bones in them. I like the Rodeo sauce better as it has a smoky taste.Banana Split
The coconut ice-cream is very smooth in taste and not too sweet.

Had a scrumptious breakfast meal as all the ingredients in the breakfast set that I have ordered are all my favourite.

The vegetables on the side of the plate are surprisingly not that plain and bland as I expected because they actually cook them together with some sauces.

Other than the egg, wedges and hot dogs which are pretty normal to me, I think that the chicken is really very tender and the taste was further enhanced with the brown sauce on top of the chicken.

The environment there is good as well since it's not that noisy despite it's locates just beside the cinema.

Do you know this place has 50% off its sliced cakes on the shelf after 9pm? On my way home from the nearby community centre, feeling abit hungry. Remember the cake when I pass by Yishun 10. Decides to go in to have a look. Not much of a choice - only 4 choices.Chocolate Banana Cake

Very moist and nutty. Got a lot of nuts inside. I like this very much.

i go for them when i'm on a chocolate detox.

anything at half price is a good price.

Soup is always an item which I will normally ordered when I visit this restaurant. This time round i have tried their cream of mushroom. The portion served was quite generous but I find that the soup texture was abit too diluted and not much mushroom taste can be found in it. Moreover, I also cannot find much of the mushroom slices in it as well. Would be better if they can provide a sliced of garlic bread to go along with it.

Soup of the day + Garlic Bread : Tastes like out of a can.
Chef’s Chicken Salad ($10.60) : mixed salad in herb vinaigrette dressing topped with cheese, ham, chicken & egg, garnished with tomato slices.
Crispy Chicken Thigh with BBQ sauce ($9.50) : Served with potato wedges, mixed salad, tomato wedges & drizzled with herb vinaigrette. The wedges are very nice.
Seafood Spaghetti in Sambal Cream Sauce ($9.50) : Interesting sauce, spicy and creamy. The prawns look not so fresh.
Cookies & cream ice-cream ($1 topup) : Beautifully decorated.
You can also topup $1 for a mini tub of ice-cream.

The cafe cartel cake will be 50 % after 9pm..
My friend n I wanna have some talk,don't know want to go where.
Starbucks also full of people, so we went to cafe cartel.
This chocolate walnut brownie is quite big in size.
They warmed it before serve.
It taste nice with the warm temperature.
The thick chocolate taste with some walnut taste great.Plus the a bit melted vanilla icecream.
This call life..! But cannot eat too much of it, because it is a bit sweet.
Still love it.will try other cake next time.

I just love all those sinfully awesome dessert such as chocolaty brownie cake, the molten lava cake, rich chocolate ice cream with chocolate syrup and many others related to chocolate. This brownie isn't the best of what I had before, maybe due to its portion is too much and too greasy, but the first half of my consumption is really great. The brownie is baked with quite a lot of walnuts which I love it, then topped with the chilling ice cream to give the cold and hot sensation, and spammed with chocolate syrup that almost covered the whole cake.

There's a 50% discount on desserts after 9pm. And cakes cost around $3++. I ordered the brownie cheesecake. The taste was quite average but at $3 a slice, the cake is acceptable.The strawberry milkshake, however, was really good! The consistency of the milkshake was just right and wasn't too thick or too milky. The oreo waffle was also good. When it is served, the waffle was still warm with an ice cream on top. Do share this as it might be a lot for just one person to finish. The 50% discount does not include waffles, so you can try it at any time of the day!

i love going to cafe cartel for their cakes as they have the half price promotion after 9pm. the cakes are all quite nice, i love the hazelnut chocolate cake and chocolate banana cake the most. the chocolate taste is very rich, and the cake base is soft and fine, the cream is not too greasy. for the american cheese cake, the cake is also fine and smooth, but the base is a bit course, and i feel greasy eating the whole piece alone.

This cake is really delicious.
The dark chocolate taste witht the very soft and smooth texture.
It is perfect.
The cake has 50% discount after 930pm.
It cost $3++ per piece.
It is really worth because of the low price and the good taste.
Sure will always go there to buy after 9.30pm.
But the main course that i had there is normal only.
I more like their cake.However,the choices of cake is quite limited at that time.

The cream of mushroom soup was quite diluted and I do not really taste the mushroom flavour or even the mushroom pieces in it at all. The cream used in it is also not that fragrant I am am quite upset with it as even some of the western stall's mushroom soup from the coffee shops taste even better than this. Fortunately their garlic bread has been toasted till really nice and fragrant and the outer crust is also quite crunchy as well.

i was once having bad impression of The Café Cartel before but i changed my view after then because of their ribs and cakes. they are having half price for cakes after 9pm too. and i was always tempted to get one every time i passed by, but having cakes after 9pm is too sinful.cheese baked penne is also not bad, the penne is al dente and the tomato sauce is just nice. The meat given is very generous in portion, and the cheese melted is very fragrant and added flavours to the dish.

Mushroom Aglio Olio spaghetti
went to cafe cartel for a quite lunch. the photo of food shown above is the Mushroom Aglio Olio spaghetti I ordered from cartel cafe. I simply like the overall combination. first it is not too salty, second it is not too oily. the ingredients like shitake mushroom, red and green capsicum, onion and spices all are my favourite food. like it!

This pork rib dish from Cafe Cartel is definitely the best selling item and also one of the tastier dish that most of the customers will buy when they visit this restaurant. As for me, this is also my favourite choice here as well. The pork ribs are quite big in portion and it has been barberqued till really fragrant and every pieces of it are filled with the nice fragrant from the barberqued sauce used in marinating it. The french fries are also crispy and not too oily as well.
