Setting is so convenient and easy to find at ION and nice comfy seats in a very cozy plaze for my friend and me during Hari Raya Puasa. The staffs were quick and efficient.Compare my coffee and peppermint tea, I love the coffee because it was wonderful perfect brewed coffee! They make it plain, but you can add sugar on your own at the counter.Although their drinks are very good, I still prefer the standard of drinks and food in Starbucks.Tips: When you are tired in going up and down, you may sit down here with a cuppa-coffee definitely would not hurt your emotion on shopping. continue reading

was looking for a place to sit down with my friend after dinner to catch up with each other. we came to coffee bean and order a Chicago cheesecake to share. We both of us are cheesecake lovers; we have tried many cheesecakes from other restaurant before. We find that this cheesecake is rather mediocre, the cheese flavor isn’t strong enough to our liking. Nothing is really bad about it but there isn’t anything fantastic though. However, I gotta say that the texture of the cake is quite soft. Portion is quite huge too. Overall, I will not specially go back for their cheesecakes. continue reading

When I start running out of lunch options around Orchard, I find myself coming to places that don't usually serve food. Well, Coffee Bean & Teal Leaf is one of those places you don't typically go to eat your lunch at. But they do serve "all day breakfast" sets including the Brek O' Day ($8) which comes with your choice of eggs (scrambled, omelette, sunny side up), 2 slices of bread, sausages and salad on the side. I ordered the scrambled eggs which turned out to be extra buttery - way too much butter until it overpowers the natural taste of the eggs. The bread and sausages were regular and their salad just doesn't go that well with the meal. continue reading

Knowing that hubby had a harsh and bad day in the office, I specially went to buy him coffee and dessert to cheer him up as I bought takeaway; Ordered Chocolate Of A Thousand Leaves, Tiramisu, and Ice blended Vanilla Frappe.Smooth and creamy hazelnut cream inside the Chocolate of a 1000 leaves cake had a great light and spongey texture. A bite of this and a sip of any of those great drinks coffee bean sells and it’s a great way to brighten your day.Tiramisu was also fluffy in texture and smelt of strong coffee aroma, tasted great with its layers of mascarpone cheese topped with the thorough and delicate dust coating of cocoa powder.Hubby is now happy =) continue reading

Friday night with the bffs for some girl-talks after dinner at Skinny Pizza. Always spoil for drink choices, so the girls are sticking to their regular drink - Sunrise & Pure Double Chocolate (without whippie cream) Ice Blend, while I decided to try the new Peach Tea ice Blend. A little sweet & sour. NiceI also ordered the Warm Chocolate Cake for additional dessert. Taste is good, but a little dry & hard. continue reading
