To all chocolate lover, this is definitely a must try cake. Chocolate chiffon cake coated with layers of chocolate mousse, with a few chocolate macaroons beside it and topped with strawberries and chocolates, DELICIOUS and awesome feeling.mad Only thing is that the macaroons are too sweet ( macaroons are always that sweet though), we act left it aside after having 1 or 2 of it. But we did finish the cake in seconds, because it is just that yummy.

Was happened to get to try their black forest cake during a tea session with our bosses during the afternoon. The cake looks really delicious as generous amount of chocolate pieces are spreaded all over the cake and the large pieces of red strawberries are topped on it which make its appearance looks even more attractive. Inside the content, the chocolate sponge cake is very soft and light and the blueberry spreads in it are also very fresh and not too sweet too. Simply yummy!

Discovered this cream puff while getting a last minute cake from the icing room. They were having an offer for ntuc link card members so i got it for a dollar, which is really worth it! The puff is quite huge and the cream is overflowing. It is made of cookie crumbs at the top. I prefer the chocolate cream one because there is more flavour. A light enjoyable snack! (:

The Icing Room, a dessert concept by Breadtalk made its name famous with its own DIY cakes. Recently, they launch several new items and I trotted down to try some of them. I think the cake is too creamy Speaking of macarons, The Icing Room serves a large variety of flavours, and when compared with the traditional French macaron, the version served here is not as sweet. If sweetness is your thing and you need something stronger, go for the Double Chocolate Cake with With desserts, one should have some tea to wash it down; and the Icing Room offers a large variety such as the English Breakfast, Chamomile and Darjeeling. However, I don’t allow see them with crowds.

It was a good friend’s birthday so a couple of us headed to icing room to diy a cake for her. We bought the 6 inch medium sized cake in vanilla fruit cake flavour for her. We all did not prepare what to draw on the cake so when they served us the blank white cake, all we did was to stare at it for a while. We were given some icing sugar and icing liquid to choose from. And some harden sugar stars. After some diy-ing we were done, the cake was uniquely ours. I like the idea of diy-ing something. It made the cake so special that there is only one in this world and the person receiving it would feel special too.The cake was really delicious. our vanilla cake had layers of cream, cake and fruits. They were really generous with the fruit, for the layer that had fruits, the fruits were packed really closely together. Their cream was not too heavy as well, it was whipped till very light. What I like most is the cake, it was so moist and fluffy, it was not too sweet as well.
