The knolls restaurant is very quite peaceful There is an air con area and an outdoor area. Quite romantic too at night. It's like a Bali resort restaurant The bread is very tasty and freshly baked. It is served warm. The tomatoes soup is not too sour and very flavorful The chicken confit is very tender and the truffle infused mashed potatoes compliment the meat very wellThe dessert is so unique and yummy. The smell and taste of verbena is strong and the sorbet is very refreshing

We stayed for a night a Capella, and went down for the buffet breakfast the next day.The selection is just right, with dim sum, different varieties of bread, fruits, eggs (you can ask the chef to cook in the way you want- scrambled, fried etc). There were so many types of juices that we did not know which ones to choose! We tired the coconut in the end and it was very fresh! For the day, we can order waffles and pancakes and they will service it to your table! It was warm, crisply and came with sauces to eat!Service and polite and fast!

My friend has been wanting to try out the high tea at the Knolls. Ok, here we are on a Saturaday afternoon which we have made reservation about a day or 2 before that.Wow, the ambience here was really good. We had choosen the indoor window seats overlooking the reflecting pools and distant sea! It was really beautiful! We felt really cosy, relax, leisure and lazy on this Saturaday. The afternoon tea starts from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm, from S$38++, which can be shared by 2 person. The menu was pretty limited and simple which comprised of 3 different type of afternoon tea - Queens Tea (English), Japanese Tea and Peranakan Tea.We have decided on a Japanese Tea set which come with a 3-tier set (Quite special and quite wierd also. haha) - consists of wasabi sandwiches with carrot shreds (which i quite liked it), unagi tamago rolls (which tasted quite similar to sushi) and the little pastry whch topped with raspberry icing (which i dont really like it - too sweet for me!) is a very typical Japanese pastry that was a litle too sweet.Overall, I found the food at Knolls was quite average only but their good service, lovely ambience and breathtaking view can actually make it up for that. So this place is highly recommended for girlfriends or couple to laze around on a lazy afternoon.
