Signature Dishes
Located at the second floor of the shopping centre was this open concept cafe. What attracted me to the cafe was the pretty display of sliced cakes and tarts on the shelf. Although it was pretty early in the morning, there was already customers enjoying breakfast in the cafe. While the dine in area was located in the open, the kitchen area was hidden near the lifts.LOBSTER MAC & CHEESE ($25.50)WITH SHAVED FENNEL & FRESH DILL, BAKED IN CAST IRON PANAlthough I wished for more cheese on top of the dish, it was pretty delicious and the sauce was evenly spreaded.The pepper and salt container that served with the dish was in a quite unique 2-in-1 container.MOCHACCINO ($5/ regular)The drink was rich and thick. Quite a peak me up.Pear Tart ($6.50)The crust cut easily with a fork. The pear slices were soft and moist. It did not taste too sweet.Overall the food was great. Service was great too. Staffs often came over to check on me. I was seated at the sofa seat which was quite comfortable. As it was my birthday month and being a TANGS card member, I was given a free tart or cake with an order of a main course. Therefore the pear tart was free for me.
