Timbre

This is a half and half pizza with one side buffalo chicken and the other side roasted duck. The roasted duck was a bit hard and was a bit too salty but the buffalo chicken was more soft and addictive which made me go mouthful after mouthful. The pizza dough was crispy at the sides and soft in the middle. The fillings were just the right amount for the size of the pizza dough.

a group of my friends had a meet up together with me at timbre to chill out. well other than music.. local singers it was a good environment for drinking and chatting. we heard that their pizza is good.. hence we order a piece of seafood pizza. Buffalo wings cost $13++ for a plate. I didn't try this bt my friend was all indulging in it. They said that the sauce was fantastic! So perhaps, its a MUST HAVE too.

We were here for dinner and also to enjoy the mount sophia branch before they close this week..

I was in the mood for chicken wings.. they had a few recipes and i took the buffalo wings with spicy sauce.. super huge servings and very yummy! the yellow bits u see on the chicken is actually peanuts.. which is quite interesting.. the sauce is not too spicy.. just nice with a sweet tangy taste.. just writing this now makes me salivate.. servings are huge with i think 4 wings with drumlets..

I had previously tried their other thin crust poizza before but the one we had this time was 'heavy".. i remembered ordering the duck pizza and didnt feel very full but this one was huge! I think the cheese and egg made it quite a massive dish.. but was good and tasty.. and definitely filling!

Overall.. value for money.. i think just with these 2 dish can fill 3 person comfortably.. this was a pig-out for 2. =P

service was great and now they even had an ipad on each table for ordering food. super hi-tech!

Fancy a place to chill after 7pm? Looking for a nice place with good food, drinks and music? How about heading down to Timbre at Old School. Roast duck pizza is a must have as it provides a taste of roast duck meat, sauce and what is unique is the crispy crust it has. In addition to that the outlet also provides high tech ordering, using Ipads to order! Beware, do not try watch youtube videos or try anything funny with the Ipads as it is not allowed. There is also a wide range of other food and pizza(Buffalo wings pizza) and so on. Moreover, drinks are also a must-try over there, a variety of alcohols and non-alcohols makes it a suitable place for meet ups when you have friends who does not like drinking and some who just can't stop drinking. After eating and drinking, around 9pm, the music will have started rolling...Timbre offers their own talented singers who are often accompanied with instruments together with their awesome singing. You can choose to make an order on which songs you would like them to sing. Whatever songs they sing or whatever cover they are doing is really nice! With the music, food and drinks, it is a must-try for all above 21s!

This is actually a duck pizza. Can you believe it? You can never imagine the taste. The duck is very tender and the sauce makes this pizza very unique. It does not taste like normal pizza. Probably because of the duck. I love the way it is prepared. Yummy~This is the buffalo wings. The taste of this wings is quite strange. The meat of the wing is quite tender and juicy~ You should go try it, try this strange taste of the wings. Mmmmm

Best duck pizza ever! It's really unique. The pizza crust is thin and crispy topped with lots and lots of crackers. The duck meat are tender and really goes well with the brownish sauce. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Service is great, they have an ipad for menu browsing and ordering. Service is great. There's live band and you can even dedicate songs via SMS! Ambience is awesome!

Unlike the thick crusted pizza you find in pizza hut, the ones at timbre are like the traditional ones in italy- thin and tastes gorgeous! we had the plain cheese pizza, was was delicious on its own, or even better with sprinkles of some of their chilli flakes! I love the rich tomato base and how it complements the cheese on top. Definitely a must try!

The pizzas here are not like the usual pizzas which you always bought outside. First of all the pizza base is really thin but yet you can still feel that 'bread' texture during your every bites of it. Instead of topping up with lots of meats and seafoods, they have actually use 'popiah' skin to deep fried it and topped on it. The feeling of it is soft and moist at the bottom, and really crispy toppings on top of it. With generous amount of tomato pasta and parmerson cheese spread on it before bake, the whole favourite of this pizza is really unique and special. You would probably cannot find such a flavour pizzas around in town.

Have you ever tried the mexican wings at timbre If you haven't, please try it one day because this is the best wings i've ever tasted. Sadly, this dish is rather hot and spicy so if you're not a spicy eater then it's really a sad thing! This dish is affordable yet tasty and whenever i visit timbre, i'll always order this mexican wings. Other than this dish, timbre also has a wide range of dishes for you to choose from! However please make reservations if you're going in a big group because it's usually full house there!

Came here to celebrate one of my friend's birthdays, and it was all our first time being there, and we went there expecting great food, since we had read other reviews about how awesome it is. Firstly, we were shocked to realise that you had to climb like a gazillion flights of stairs till you reach Timbre, then I realised it was not an air-conditioned place. Oh well, we went ahead with our order, which was the roasted duck pizza($20), hawaiian & philly cheesesteak half-half pizza($21), Timbre platter($42++), and I ordered an Old School coolers drink($10), which I chose their passionfruit flavour. The roasted duck was supposedly highly raved by many people, but when I tried it, the duck was like inexistent, sauce was salty, and I think it was more of a cracker pizza. The other pizza we had was average too, but was still alright. I think their toppings are little. For the Timbre platter, it was a mix of 6 different snacks they offered, and the ones that are worth trying is actually the basil beef with bread, meatballs. The tomato with crab mayo on top was something new, but I wish the tomato was grilled. The drink I had was an utter disappointment, which was terribly sweet and syrupy, nothing special, at all. I suppose their alcoholic drinks are better, but my friends said that theirs wasn't anything to rave about either. Overall, I feel that the food and drinks are overpriced to the point of extortion. Will not go there again. The one good factor about the place is their live performance and they do song dedications too.

Usually we go timbre because the environment there is very good.
And it is very suitable for teenagers.The buffalo wings are nice.

Timbre is a nice place to chill and drink beer and chit chatting with friend.

We went to chill at Timbre where we ordered the mixed pizza (duck and cheese pizza). The flavour is topped on half side of the pizza evenly. It costs around $25 for the pizza. I like the duck pizza especially as the duck meat is fresh and tender and there are many crispy flakes topped above. The cheese portion is cheesy and it feels full after consuming a little.

I've always heard about how nice and cool it was to dine at Timbre from my friends.
Hence, we've decided to book a place at the one near douby ghout!
Realise we made the wrong choice cause it's raining that day and to reach Timbre, we need to climb a super duper long flight of stairs. =.= *wobbly legs~Okay, we're starving! Here's our food ordered from the ipad that's connected to the kitchen! COOL stuff~ 2 pizzas and 2 tepas/side dish. Pizza ranges from ard $16-$20 ++ each.1 of the pizza ordered was Cajole Chicken Dice Pizza. Nothing great about it, in fact, i find it slightly tasteless. :xAnother cool thing about Timbre is that their pizza can be mix half half to try many different flavours! Of course, u've to pay additional $2 for this request. It would be better if they do it for free.
So the 2nd pizza, we've decided to mix roasted duck & seafood pizza together! I am so glad we did so! Didn't regret it at all! HAHA! This 2 was quite good! Calamari Rings for $9++. I think it's quite good although the price is abit steep. The sotong was quite tender, can bite it off easily and with the tar tar sauce, what else can i say but yum yum~Buffalo wings cost $13++ for a plate. Their alcoholic beverages was quite comprehensive too! The Apple Martini and Strawberry alcoholic drinks are rather good for girls with a loving for tinge of sweetness! And there's a band performing every night with sms dedication and even birthday surprises. Cool place to come once in a while!
