Signature Dishes
Was in a sudden craving for kaya toast after school . However, this place is always crowded, be ready not to find a seat here.Traditional Kaya Toast - $1.80. A classic favorite! White bread toast with kaya jam spread in it. The filling was quite generous. I felt like they should grill the bread longer. But nevertheless, almost nothing to complain about. Value for money as well.

Toast is a good breakfast for everyone.No matter where is it.Kopitiam or restaurant.Toast box's toast have many variety.Have polo bun, yuan yang, with chicken floss or just simple kaya.I like the simple one, with kaya and butter one.the toast is really nice.I like the boiled egg too. It taste nice and they really cook it well.The coffee is nice too..i like to pour some of it into the mixture of egg.Sound disgusting right?but it really nice, you can try on it.

The standard of this cup of coffee surpassed my expectation. It was a pleasant surprise indeed. I asked for thick coffee, it came with the right level of coffee taste and not overly bitter together with a well balanced of milk and sugar, definitely one of the best i ever tried. This cup of almost perfect coffee complimented my earlier lunch rather well. Recommended.

Other than their signature toast bread with kaya and butter and also their fresh brewed coffee and tea, you will also be able to enjoy a sliced of their traditional good old day sliced cakes in their shop. It is very soft and they actually do it the traditional way by using butter cream instead of fresh cream. Simple but taste decently good. Great for all times! My verdict: 6.5/10

This is another hangout for coffee with grandpa. They served pretty good coffee but standard is a little inconsistent at times, it can be rather bitter at times with little milky taste. It is definitely pricey if you are comparing this to those served in the hawker centre but the ambience is definitely much better, so i think paying the extra is acceptable.No matter, this is a nice place for breakfast. Coffee and toast, the perfect breakfast set especially so if you are having it with a loved one.
