Had my lunch in this Toast Box Branch as happen to have a meeting with my client in Sentosa. Restaurant was quite small and abit squeezy. Service was quite friendly and warm. Have bought their butter toast ($1.80) and their Mee robus ($6), which both items are consider quite expensive. The butter toast was slight crunchy but was not as flavourful as what I have expected. It was rather too sweet as too much sugar was topped on it. Mee robus portion was quite little and not much ingredients can be found in it. The gravy was also abit bland in taste and not spicy at all. continue reading

Since we having staycation at Hard Rock Hotel we walked over to Toast Box for breakfast this branch their queue was forever long but well he service was quite fast so waiting time was like 5 mins to 8mins! I choose to have Tom Yam Chicken Sausage instead of the normal breakfast set. Their noodle is actually instant noodle but the soup was really power! Onion and lemongrass was found in the soup! Spicy, sour and really thick! This is the only branch that have tom yum noodle so do give a try if you are RWS! continue reading

Not sure what to get for dinner and so we ended up at RWS. Decided to go Toast Box for something not so heavy because we were not very hungry.Hubby's Drink - Pepsi with Calamasi($4.20). Sour with the calamasi but I prefer my pepsi or coke with lemon.Iced Sour Plum Soda ($4.20): My all time favourite drink here.. I realised not all Toastbox serves this drink. I like the taste of this drink with the sour plum syrup. It makes this drink a little saltish yet a little sourish, makes a nice combination.Tom Yam Noodles ($6.50) It is actually maggi mee cooked with tom yum soup, half hardboiled egg and 2 pcs luncheon meats are added in too.. the soup is sour and spicy enough and is thick with strong tom yum taste. A little high on the price for instant noodles but so far I only seen this on their menu at RWS. continue reading

An ideal breakfast should have eggs!Deep Fry a loaf of toast and you get french toast. Spread a layer of peanut butter and you get well... Peanut butter french toast! The freshly fried toast sure warm up the peanut butter, creating a melty and gooey texture to each bite! It's amazing I tell you! What's even better is it's been cut into little bite size treat! All I need to do is to pop one inside my mouth, no cutting required! There are many breakfast franchise spawning around Singapore. Ya Kun, Killiney Kopitiam and Toast Box. I don't really care which is the best so as long as they give me my breakfast! But the main problem about these franchise is that it's often packed which means you can literally eavesdrop next table conversations! I guess it's that rustic feel that you get that makes me back for more! As I am writing this post, I have this sudden craving for toast, eggs and coffee! Heh! I am such a glutton! What can I say? I'm a lazy guy who goes for lazy breakfast! continue reading

Breakfast with buddy before going to SEA Aquarium. Instead of the usual toast & egg, I had the TomYum noodle & buddy had the laksa set. Both set comes with ice barley. the Tom Yum noodle taste pretty good, with some onion, lemongrass & lime in it, comes with 2 thinly sliced luncheon meat as well. Laksa however taste normal, nothing to rave about. Crowd is pretty huge compared to other outlets in town; be prepared to queue! continue reading
