It was a friend's birthday gathering at Tom N Toms coffee! Well, I ordered the mixed berries smoothies which was very diluted, hence I didn't really like the taste of it. I tasted some sourness from the berries but because it was too diluted that I don't feel like I am drinking smoothies. However, I liked the environment of the stall, very a good venue for celebration! Most of all my friends enjoyed it too! continue reading

I've been wanting to visit the Toms n Toms branch in Singapore ever since I came back from Korea months ago! Finally met up with one of my close friends at the cafe! It's a short walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT Station. There are two sitting area, one inside the cafe and another outside but still air-conditioned. As the inside had this strong coffee/food smell, we decided to sit at the outside area. I really like the design and layout of this cafe, very cutesy and creative. By the way, their staff is korean too! I ordered a Iced Caramel Macchiato while my friend ordered a Iced Mocha. An electric token will be given to you and once your order is ready, it will ring! I find that the Caramel Macchiato was too sweet for my liking while my friend, who always order Iced/Warm Mocha at coffee chains, said that her drink was good! We also ordered this Garlic Butter Toast to share, and it was heavenly! The best garlic butter toast I've ever tasted! Definitely must order that when you visit this cafe. I came to this cafe again another time and I ordered a set meal which consist of any filled pretzel of your choice and a iced/hot Americano. I chose the apple cinnamon pretzel and iced Americano. I find that the filled apples pretty much overpowered the cinnamon taste. By the way, this cafe opens from 7am to 1am daily! You can consider dropping by here if you're in town and needed somewhere to chill or to do some work. I will probably visit the cafe again sometime to try the other thick toasts! continue reading

Today after lesson, decides to come in here and have a bite before going home. A cheerful lit up place.Even the table is beautifully decorated. After paying for my order at the cashier, I am given a pager to wait for my order.Green Tea TomNccino ($6.20/ tall)Non-Coffee Beverage blended with Rich Green Tea FlavourA rather disappointing drink. Lack of green tea taste. It tastes bland, just crushed ice. I could not finish half of it.Corn Pretzel ($6.30)Pretzel baked with Majo, Sweet Corn and Cheddar CheeseIt is served pipping hot with creamy corns. Very nice, except that it tastes a bit sour. continue reading

Settled for this place after seeing coffee alley is too crowded. u get a beeper to inform you once your order is ready. Had the pecan praline tomcinno. Not too bad but prefer rocky road from pacific coffee. The garlic thick toast is worth mentioning as its nice and not too hard. It's just a little expensive thats all ($4.20). Return to visit: Maybe not continue reading

I first got to know of this place whilst in Sydney. It was later that I learnt the coffee chain was a Korean-based one. Decided to visit the Singapore branch of Tom n Toms one Saturday evening after dinner. The place was filled with youngsters; in their late teens and early twenties. Mostly students or young working adults, working on their laptops or reading. There were one or two groups of friends chatting. The cafe sells largely light bites and drinks; other than the caffeine, there are fruit smoothies available. Set amidst a cosy setting, it was a nice place to chill-out. However, the cafe could do with some new chairs. 90% or more of the chairs had cushions which showed its internal cottons! I did not feel too comfortable with that but had not much of choice. Prices here are typical of those you would find at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. Nothing to shout about their drinks. continue reading
