Uncle Sim is my friend! Guess what happens when you do not know what to eat. When the coffee shops are closed and my favourite chicken rice stall is not open? I go to Uncle Sim Home cooked Nonya food. If you are on a budget of $4 or less. This is an awesome place for you to eat. I would however recommend a ta pao. Nothing else can beat that as you have the comfort of sitting down at home and eating it nicely.I usually would recommend the chicken sauce or the black pepper beef with less rice and an egg. This is really cheap. Something like $2.50. The other thing that would accompany me is the chili padi that i like. I find it super delicious as it brings out the flavors into everything else. The stall is very fast moving so remember, for optimum dining pleasure... Order fast and think of what you want to get!The staff are really busy but despite that... they can still remember your orders! So remember, everything tastes sexier with chili padi! continue reading

Their nonya curry sauce is very nice, milky and very smooth, thick but still flavourful. Always got queue one! continue reading
