Techno-edge is my favourite canteen to get good and affordable food since there are a wide variety of stalls catering from Japanese to Indonesian cuisines. Uncle soup is one of the stalls which I will frequent -at $2.50 per bowl (additional 30cents for rice), the serving is fairly generous. For those who do not want the soup in the form of a hotpot, you can opt for just soup which will serve in ordinary bowl. What i like about the soup is that it is clear and not oily, reminding me of homecooked food. Thumbs up for this lovely soup to keep me satisfied for the rest of the day! lollol

Pig Organ Soup
Smile 2012-04-10

I ordered the pig organ soup with rice at Techno Edge for lunch the other day. Both the soup and the rice were generously served and total bill came up to only $2.50. The soup was well peppered and tasty. I also did not feel thirsty after eating the meal meaning to say there is little or no MSG in the food! The soup had both pig stomach and pig intestines as well as a few mushrooms and vegetable. I feel that the soup could be further flavoured with pork ribs.

Overall taste: 8.5/10

Yummy Good soup

Soups are amazing.magical.wonderfully warm on the tummy.

On a gloomy rainy day, have a bowl of hot soup to warm the senses and feel snug.

On a hot day, have a good bowl of soup to keep you cool!

At any time, have a bowl of tonic soup for nutrition! Have it on its own, have it to accompany your meal, have it for breakfast, have it for lunch or dinner. Have it with rice, bread, together with noodles. Ahh, isn't that just a perfect accompaniment!

Uncle Soup serves up great healthy soups for just about anyone! Want a spicy kick, try the seafood tom yum soup! Going for something simple? Try the fish or seafood soup. Want something flavourful? The Bak Kut Teh is awesome. the pig stomach soup is peppery and aromatic. Or go for the ultimate chicken herbal soup, a big chicken drumstick swimming in ginseng soup.

I love uncle soup for its original soups. They are nutritious and cheap without use of MSG. The seafood soup is good with prawns, fish, crabmeat, fishcake and comes with rice. The fish soup is really good as they use fresh fish slices. Have that served in a mini hot pot and it completes your day.

The soups that they offer generally taste good and at 2.50 a pot, it is extremely affordable? add 30 cents for a bowl of rice or top up 50 cents for an extra serving of vegetables!!

So, get soupy today!
