Had some cheese fries at Waffletown as my snack recently. The cheese fries was really yummy, it was freshly fried, rather crispy on the outside but soft on the inside.

The fries was generously covered with lots of cheese, which made the fries super delicious! Really recommended for cheese lovers. Slurps!

The hot dogs are real cute. Although its only hotdog plus sunny egg plus waffle, the whole dish makes my day coz of the vibrant colour and presentation. The waffle is okay only, the outer crust is not crispy and the inner is not fluffy. Could be better if served hot.

My late mum used to bring us to their Bukit Timah Plaza branch (closed)
Waffles reminds me of my childhood, cause my mum loves her waffles.
Fastfood like restaurant that serves western and asian cuisines;
we had the chicken burger with fries, it's not fancy just fried chicken patty with sesame buns.
Recommend the waffles, crispy on the outside soft and moist on the inside. would just eat plain with maple syrup and butter. Cheap, fast and good.

Waffles with Chocolate chips ice cream
Smile 2012-05-08
Instead of serving the round shaped waffles, the waffles here are in square shape and look really neat and beautifully decorated with the different sauce and ice cream toppings on it. The waffles here are baked till nice golden brown and is really crispy and not too oily. My favourite ice cream here is their traditional chocolate chips flavour which is really thick in the chocolate flavour and the chocolate chips in it are generous and very crunchy too. Love the fresh vanilla whip cream that is topped on the waffle which is really light in flavour but with that slight sweetness in it. The portion is just alright for an adult but the taste is definitely awesome!

Waffles Town at Bukit Timah
Just OK 2012-03-31

The concept of Waffle town is similar to just any other fast food restaurant. They do serve main dishes, but I go for waffles.

Sad to say, their waffles are fantastic as the name Waffle town makes them out to be. Nonetheless the ice cream waffles served are pretty competent, with crisp and fluffy waffles, topped with the run of the mill ice cream available in six flavors. For the unbeatable price of $4 for a single scoop Ice Cream Waffle, I certainly can’t complain!

Final thoughts? Simple but gratifying food at extremely good value. It’s no wonder Waffletown is a hit with even budget conscious students, so a return visit to Waffle town would most definitely be on an occasional basis.

Nice fast food outlet
Smile 2012-01-14
Ever since the demise of A&W in Singapore, Waffletown is probably the only fast food outlet in Singapore that serves up fried chicken and waffles in a small unit reminiscent of an old school American diner.

Located at Balmoral Plaza, the place isn't big and comes with brown table tops and orange chairs affixed to the ground just like A&W in the old days. A very serene sense of nostalgia sets in and one can't help but relish in the comfort it offers.

2 Piece Chicken Set - The chicken skin was crispy sans the layer of fats beneath, which of course is the lesser of two evils. Meat was moist and juicy and didn't come across as oily as those served up by KFC. Only downside was the seasoning of the chicken, which I personally felt was a little inadequate. The accompanying fries and coleslaw tasted like those ready made ones you can buy off the shelves from any supermarket.

Waffle with Blackberry and Rum and Raisin Ice Cream - Since the place is called waffletown, its really a no brainer that waffles are their specialty. The waffles were very crispy but that in itself presents a problem, to me at least. Crispy waffles aren't moist and my idea of an ideal waffle should be crisp on the outside yet moist and full of bite on the inside. It must also be fragrant. Waffletown's waffles fulfilled the aroma criteria but they were crispy inside out, which made it a little like eating crackers. Fortunately, thats where the toppings and ice cream come into play, lending the waffles with additional flavour and moisture. All in all a good eat.

At about $7 for a 2 piece chicken set that comes with 2 sides and a drink, Waffletown goes for about the same price as KFC. Quality is much higher here though but there is the problem of location.

WaffleTown Visit
Smile 2011-06-04
Christmas is round the corner, too bad Santa claus is not coming to town. :-P We decided to drop by WaffleTown instead to grab a bite before driving down to Orchard for the Christmas lightings

Located along bukit timah road stands 1 of the best waffle outlet in USA~Waffle Town.

Well, the main course aren't that great. Just so so only. Guess i'm not a fan of black pepper hence i grade the chicken chop bad. Plus there's a stench in the fish and chips.

What i enjoy most ~ delicious burger & hot crispy waffle with ice-cream

   Bad!

A egg and bacon egg burger

Yummy Waffle!
Smile 2011-03-03
This is the first time I visited Waffletown at balmoral plaza. It was actually recommended by my friend who has a sweet tooth and someone who really love desserts. Anyway, my friend ordered a raspberry ice cream with strawberry waffle for me. Wow, the waffle is so pretty and yummy.. I feel that its best to go with a cup of hot mocha! Slurp... tongue
