Introduction
Boasting 200 items on the menu, diners can savour comfort food borne from simple recipes characteristic of the typical Hong Kong and Macau cafes, local Singapore favourites, tim sum and tea-time snacks. Different from other Hong Kong Cafes in Singapore, Xin Wang constantly incorporate in the menu lineup some dishes that customers like in Cantonese cuisine and not just signature Hong Kong Bo Lo Buns (Pineapple Buns), congees and noodles. continue reading

Xin Wang HK cafe sell almost everything, from dimsum to chinese and western food. Their cafe at yewtee point opens till 2am too, a great place to chill and chat with your friends while having supper! I ordered a Mango Snow Ice @ $6.90 The snow ice was really huge and tall! Topped with vanilia ice cream at the top, it compliment really well when eaten together. Although I don't like mango, this dessert was an exception I really enjoyed this! continue reading

Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe set out to showcase street favourites of Hong Kong, Macau, Shanghai and Singapore but it is no where near its objective. I was disappointed with its lacklustre standard of food. If you tried authentic Hong Kong cuisine, you would agree that the food here is barely similar to those in Hong Kong and even if there is a similar dish, it has been changed to suit the Singaporean tastebuds. The taste of the dishes at xinwang is not too bad however the prices are slightly expensive for the quality offered. However, it's one of the rare restaurants in Yewtee that is open till midnight during the weekends. continue reading

Hong Kong style Restaurant, I found many street favourites here. The business hour was until 2am everyday, that’s awesome. Maybe my next trip will be eating my supper. After browsing the whole Menu, I decided to eat Curry Chicken. It came with rice, making it a whole set of meal. Dense, aromatic and pleasantly spicy, the curry was filled to brim. I can taste the freshness of coconut used to make this curry. Chicken meat was juicy tender while potatoes were nicely done too. Ordinary delicious, it was not greasy at all. The service was prompt, waiting time was around 10 minutes. Approximately $10.00++ for my set, it was considered fair. Overall, I satisfied the visit there. continue reading

Xin Wang is always my favourite supper hangout.Boasting 200 items on the menu, I can savour comfort food borne from simple recipes characteristic of the typical Hong Kong and Macau cafes, home recipes I grew up on, local Singapore favourites, tim sum and tea-time snacks.Open till late, the café becomes a place for me to visit when I have food cravings late into the night. The cozy ambience of cushioned seats and seating booths, plus free WiFi, become added reasons for me to lounge around chit-chatting to the background music of retro Chinese hits.My friend and I ordered two types of ramen. The papaya soup with pork chop is tasty and piping hot. The dry ramen comes with special sauce that makes it tantalizing to go with the chicken cutlet as well. Definitely value for money and keeps our tummies happy for the night. continue reading

Yew Tee Point is your usual heartland mall. The crowd at this branch of Xin Wang depends on the days. weekends would be more from families that come and dine. The staff was a little unresponsive and had a little attitude problem. We ordered the Shanghai Fried Rice with Chicken Chop. This dish is my favourite and I always eat at the Siglap branch. Its good taste is consistent with the other branches. The fragrant fried rice and the chicken chop is covered with salty sauce that opens up the appetite for more. continue reading
