I went to this restaurant - Yomenya once while my friend and I walked passed, through citylink mall. We had no idea what to eat, and just saw the poster outside, which said they are having DBS promotion. We went in and ordered 1 set each. The set consists of soup, salad, dish, juice and dessert of your choices. If you order this set meal, it will be about $19.50 exclusive of gst. So do drop by and try this restaurant if you are nearby, or you are choosing a cozy environment to chill out with your friends. continue reading

First time to this Japanese pasta restaurant. Went there as it was a treat by my colleagues so I do not know how much the bill totaled.we ordered the lunch set which includes a main dish and a salad bar.Luckily my colleagues were there with me, so I realized the delicious salad is only 1 serving per person. They have a salad bar and with the bowl given, you can packed as much of your favorite food to your ability and this was mine:As per my nickname, I have stacked my favorite fruit on top of the bowl. in the restaurant, you can see the customers' displaying their best stunt of stacking the food to the bowl's maximum capacity. and you just follow. After you tasted it, then you will understand why. the ingredients are very fresh and no matter how you mix the different food, they just taste awesome!and I took photo of the carbonara my colleague ordered:and this was mine. Hokkaido Soup Pasta. i took out the butter on top to minimize calories. haha! but the pasta was not disappointing at all! The soup is not as "gelat" as I thought it would be, and the serving was very filling as it has potatoes, carrots and some seafood inside. Yummy! I would definitely introduce my friends to this place anytime they need a healthy and hearty meal! continue reading

I went back to yomenya goemon for dinner with friends again but this time i ordered a half and half set which cost $20.90 and it came with a soup and apple juice. This dish tasted yummy and the seafood that accompanied was quite fresh, however, i did not taste any seaweed taste in the sauce. The dish had some kimchi in it, it tasted slightly spicy but not as tasty and the other dish. The spaghetti was slightly dry but it's thick sauce helps to smoothen it out a bit. continue reading

I went during lunch time and ordered their set lunch which cost less than $15.It came with drink and miso soup. The serving is generous and it's definitely value for money.I love the Spaghetti in olive oil. It's healthy and yet tasty, so I don't feel guilty finishing the whole plate. The waitresses are courteous and I don't have to wait long for the food to be served. It's definitely worth going back again. continue reading

The pasta served at Yomenya Goemon is really delicious and I would definitely recommend this place. I ordered the vongole pasta cooked in aglio aglio style. The portion was huge and sufficient to keep a person with huge appetite full. The clams were fresh and the noodles had a tangy taste while chewing. It costs around $15 for a pasta. continue reading
