Lunch was Yong Tau Foo at Clementi Mall's Food Fare. Decided to have this because I always choose Yong Tau Foo if I am feeling full and unwell. The warm after I ate it always makes me feel very comfortable. The stall at food fare have many variety of Yong Tau Foo to choose from, and it will be crowded during lunch peak hours. I picked a few of my favorite ingredients and instead of the usual bee hoon, I opted for 'dong fen' instead. I like the soup base, not too much of MSG. The ingredients are

The ingredients are fresh too, not a sign of overnight stuff. The dabao version is not as nice as the one u ate immediately on the spot as the dong fen will tend to soak dry the soup. Best to eat it immediately at the food court after buying.

I decided to try the soup version of the Yong Tau Foo from this stall. I must admit that the soup was a little oily, it had oil floating on the surface of the soup. The soup was very tasty, just nice, not too salty. I decided to order seven pieces of the yong tau foo ingredient and a bowl of rice. it was pretty cheap, i only paid $4.30 for this large portion. Their selection was quite a lot. I like their vegetables, they were all very fresh, i took their kang kong, it was very crunchy and juicy.

Since I first came to Singapore, my diet has been changing a lot. The amount of meat is generally much more, while I cut off my the vegetables intake. It is not like I do not want to eat it, but the taste is different from my hometown. Generally speaking, I don't like eating vegetables that are stir-fried with too much oil and garlic. All I need is just vegetables, boiled, and broth, and something else nice to eat with. Then I saw Yong Tau Foo. I know it's all over the place here, with a range of

Then I saw Yong Tau Foo. I know it's all over the place here, with a range of price (but never very expensive), but the one in Clementi particularly fills my appetite. The broth is nice. The vegetables is even nicer. I get a lot, a lot of vegetables, comparing with the amount I may get if I pay that amount of money in somewhere else.
$3.30, all vegetables. The nice treat I give for my fast-dinner.
If you are a fan of vegetables, and you eat out in Clementi, go there and try. ;)

i was craving for yong tau foo the other day so I decided to head to food fare to order my yong tau foo. However I guess I went too late and the selection was not a lot left. There was not must of the yong tau foo dishes. there was no tau kee in sight as well. it was one of my favourite yong tau foo ingredient. One thing good about this stall is that they have a wide variety of vegetables. I was glad to see my favourite kang kong still available, but after close inspection, some of the bunch did

I ordered dry yong tau foo with rice. the stall keeper gave me a bowl of soup too. the soup was good, very tasty, should have ordered soup. I like it that this stall allow you to scoop your own sauces. I love their sweet sauce, it is not too sweet nor is it too salty.

went to eat yong tau foo for lunch, the choices of ingredients was quite good, had quite a variety of tofu and fish cake related stuff. the aunty was quite generous with the noodle portion so it was very filling. the soup was not bad either and there is some promotion for NTUC card member for the set meal

i went about dinner time to the yong tau fu stall. i was quite upset with the ingredients that were left. there were only three types of vegetables left. but nevertheless, all the food tasted really good. the soup was very tasty and the sweet sauce was good. i love their fried wanton the most. it was very meaty!
