Yoshinoya is a Japanese fast food restaurant that is served in Singapore.Since it is famous for its Beef bowl (Gyudon), so I chose this Value Meal as my lunch this afternoon. I was satisfied with the quality of the beef bowl (signature sliced beef, cabbage, long beans and carrots over white rice). The veggie was fresh.Yummy Rice Bowl at an affordable price of $7.90. continue reading

Beef Vegetable Value Meal - $7.90. Looks like Yoshinoya here doesn't have varied menu like in Jakarta. I didn't have many choices - hence, I chose this Value Meal, which consists of beef bowl (signature sliced beef, cabbage, long beans, and carrots over white rice), and any choice of drinks (I chose coke). Yoshinoya's beef never fails to impress me. It was so juicy, flavorful, and tender. The veggie was rather tasteless though. continue reading

Had lunch with my sister at Yoshinoya. I had the Salmon bowl ($7) which offers breaded salmon and a bowl of miso soup (the usual). This is my first time trying breaded salmon so i didn't have much expectations. The salmon is quite nice except that it is a little bit dry. But thats solved with the sauce that came with the dish.Yoshinoya always have a few bottles of seasoning at the counter or selected tables which you can then use to season your own dishes if you like to. continue reading

It is not a good choice to eat Yoshinoya when you are starving like mad. Somehow, the servings offered at Yoshinoya seems like some kids meal to me. it is just too little to fill up my stomach. Luckily, the teriyaki chicken was quite tasty and I enjoyed the sauce they drizzled over it. The sauce makes the rice and chicken tasted even better. The rice was Japanese rice so the rice will be able to better capture the sauce, making it superb! continue reading

It has been a while since I've eaten at Yoshinoya so I went for dinner here with a friend. As usual, I had my salmon bowl, and it tasted great as always. This time round, I noticed that there was a self-service kiosk. However, there was no student meal available on the system, which is something I feel that they can consider improving on. Since the purpose of the kiosk is to reduce waiting time for customers, it makes no sense for them not to include the full menu. continue reading
