Whenever we feel like having some authentic cheap thai food, we will always head to our favourite thai place - aroy dee!normally during weekends dinner time there will be a small crowd and the shop people have to take out their foldable tables to accommodate the crowd. we were lucky that there were no queue when we reached and was quickly usher to an outdoor seat. we wanted to order our usual but realized that they had changed their menu so we order something which they recommended - their new

the steamboat consist of the usual veggies, tang-hoon, pork meat and seafood. portion was decent enough for 2 medium eaters, but as a big eaters, we decided to order a side dish which we never try before but many diners seems to fancy - hum (cockle)! their cockles are boiled together with some lemon grass which enhance the smell and flavoring. now i know why many diners likes to order this side dish
