Bengawan solo always reminds me more of cakes and kueh, and my idea of them are pretty restricted to such. Thus, i was surprised when i went to the outlet at west mall and realised that they do sell ice desert like chendol! I just had to try that out. The chendol is, by far the best that i had!! Seriously, do try it out if you happen to pass by! The coconut milk is thick and sweet, and expect the rest to be like normal chendol. They have also substitute red bean with kidney bean, which i loved.

They have also substitute red bean with kidney bean, which i loved. They uses metal spoon, and it sort of reminds me of those hawker center in the old times, like those original old taste.

I bought the pandan kaya cake, which cost about $24. It's made of sponge cake actually, with kaya and pandan flavor jelly-like layers in between. Taste great as always, if you love the combination.
