Upon placing your order at any Korean restaurants around the world, you can always expect some ban chan (appetizers). We ordered the Sliced Pork Belly that came with some bean paste sauces. The servers will usually bbq your meat for you so you don't have to worry about not knowing when the meat is ready to be consumed. I think Koreans eat this by wrapping the meat with a lettuce leaf and smearing the meat with some bean paste. Although it may seem like a weird concoction to some, the overall flavour is actually really nice. The lettuce leaf gave the meat a refreshing and crispy touch while the pork belly was very soft and tender. I particularly liked the bean paste which made the flavour even richer.

We also had the Chadol Duenjang Jjigae. It is something like bibimbap, essentially traditional soybean paste stew with beef and vegetables. Add the stew to your bowl of rice, pour in whichever pastes you like, stir and mix it till you get an equal consistency and there you have it! A bibimbap. The myriad of flavours burst in your mouth with the vegetables adding a crunch to each bite.

The quality of the food served made up for the lack of choices in the menu. However, prices are considered rather steep and with the addition GST and service charge, expect a bump in your total bill.
