I was curious how Ipoh delicacies tasted as i have never been to Ipoh so i dropped by this shop as they claimed to serve 'authentic Ipoh food'. I ordered a Huadiao chicken rice set which is basically a chicken dish cooked with a type of chinese wine.I like the chicken as they used chopped chicken thighs which were very smooth and juicy. The gravy, though a bit oily, was rich in flavour and i poured almost all of it onto my rice because it taste so good. There was also some mushroom slices in it which were fully soaked with the tasty gravy.A warm, comforting dish. I will be back to try their Ipoh hor fun soon!
