Unlike its name and logo, Tiong Bahru Bakery serves croissants and other French pastries and breads. Their croissants are very flaky and not of the soft variety. The buttery taste is not very strong either. The chocolate croissant actually tastes like the original flavour croissant and only differentiates itself by its appearance and the thin layer of chocolate at the middle of the pastry. The chocolate is really strong and a little bitter. It did not taste like it is made with cheap chocolate.

Not too bad and I may return to try their other pastries and of course their coffee.
