Famed for their delicious buffet spread, Town Restaurant has a run of thematic additions to their buffet from time to time, such as the Eurasian Heritage Buffet back in 2013. This year, they have invited Taiwanese guest chef, Chef Frank Ho Chien Pin for a week-long special Taiwanese-themed spread for their dinner buffet.
What to expect
Expect over 30 authentic Taiwanese dishes crafted by Chef Ho, from freshly-made salads such as Taiwanese Pickled Okra, Wood Ear Salad and Honey Marinated Cherry Tomato Salad to delicious meats such as the Three-Cup Chicken and Braised Pork with Steamed Bun.
Another highlight is the popular Dan Tsu Noodles, one of the best known snacks from Tai Nan, Taiwan, served in shrimp soup with bean sprouts, coriander, minced pork and fresh shrimps.
Price: $55++ for adults, $28++ for children 6 to 11 years old

About the chef
Chef Ho is a highly-skilled and experienced chef with 47 years of preparing authentic Taiwanese cuisine under his belt. Not only is he a talented chef, he is currently the Associate Professor at the National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism, Chinese Cuisine Faculty as well as restaurant consultant.
