FLO | Halal Certified Korean-Western Café – Be One Of The First To Explore The New Dishes

FLO, Food Lovers Only , founded by the Manuka Group is located at IMM. IMM is located in the West and located near popular malls like Westgate and JEM. It has been a long time since my last visit and to my surprise, there are so many shopping outlets at IMM. Another reason to visit IMM; The Shopping Outlets. Ranging from sports wear like Nike, Adidas outlet, men’s fashion like Fred Perry and Pedro outlet and woman’s all-time favourite Charles & Keith outlet. After shopping at IMM, definitely calls for some Korean-Western Cuisines at FLO. Launching three new dishes; Korean Pizza Croissant, Korean Beef Pasta and Korean Chicken Croissant. These new fusion creations are created by a 19-year-old Korean Chef Kim Jin Myeong who has a passion in creating Korean-Western cuisines. Another reason to visit FLO; it is a halal-certified cafe and does not include service charge or GST. But what if you’re feeling lazy? FLO also delivers in the west area (for FREE) for orders S$150 and above if you place order one day in advance.

Accompany corn soup with some warm garlicky bread and you will love it more.

Corn Soup at S$8.

Classic simple bruschetta with tasty and appetising tomatoes are a good pair to kick start a meal.

Tomato Bruschetta at S$7.

Kick up the smokey flavour of this Korean inspired tender chicken marinade packed with endless flavour and char. It’s a great way to enjoy sweet yet salty, crunchy anchovies with kimchi fried brown rice. The anchovies are addictive and tasted as good as it is! And the kimchi adds flavour and texture to nutty brown rice. If you love kimchi and chicken, you shouldn’t miss this dish.

Korean Inspired Marinated Chicken with Kimchi Fried Rice at S$16.

Who doesn’t love freshly baked and flaky croissants?! The crunch from the croissant is just right and stuffed with chicken, kimchi, spinach, mushrooms and mozzarella cheese.

Korean Chicken Croissant at  S$17.

One dish that I love to eat with egg is potatoes. The potato fritters are cooked until browned and crisp on the edges while retaining the moisture inside. This warm potato cake makes a delicious cushion with a choice of sunny up or scrambled eggs. Partnered with a rocket salad, marinated pulled chicken slices and sour cream with chives dip on the side, you have a delicious hearty meal. It’s quite value added, you get a main and 2 side dishes at S$15 nett. Do allow 20 minutes cooking time as they are made to order.

FLO‘s Rosti Special at S$15.

Let this Korean beef spaghetti make you all hot and sweaty because it tasted much spicier than it really looks. Being a non-chilli foodie, it turned out a real hit on the aftertaste. A little disappointment as the beef were overcooked and tough on texture.

Korean Beef Pasta at S$17.

I was deciding between Iced Strawberry Earl Grey Tea Latte or Iced Butterscotch Roasted Almond Latte. Had this meal with Tracy, another blogger and we have coincidentally picked the same drink from the drinks menu. I love Earl Grey, the strawberry was not too overwhelming, and the whole drink was just right for my taste.

Iced Strawberry Earl Grey Tea Latte S$8 and ABC Fresh Fruit Juice S$7.

Pretty decent ondeh ondeh and durian pandan kaya cake. I would have crave more if the durian taste is stronger. Not a fan of Lychee Cake as it was a little sweet to the tooth.

Ondeh Ondeh cake, Lychee Cake and Durian Pandan Kaya cake at S$6.50 each.

You shouldn’t miss the waffles ice cream from FLO. Velvety smooth, creamy, rich and pure Vanilla Gelato, perfect alone or served alongside your favourite waffle. The crispy waffles are freshly baked upon order and accompanied with choco-brownie and walnut. It is as addictive as it looks. The vanilla ice cream is so good and you shouldn’t miss it! It comes in 4 flavours; vanilla, chocolate, matcha and coconut. I’ve added another scoop of matcha ice cream at only S$2.50. It’s such a steal for premium ice cream.

Bountiful Choco-Brownie Waffle (comes with Vanilla Gelato) at S$14.50.

FLO welcomes all food lovers to satisfy your Korean-Western cuisine and desserts craving. As there are only 36 seatings, it’s best to visit early and chop a seat for yourself and also your loved ones.
