Introduced by JP Pepperdine Group about a year ago, it now has 4 outlets all over in our country with the latest one being at Djitsun Mall in Ang Mo Kio. Enjoy its high-quality Korean BBQ meats together with its set lunches, which now have bigger portions but are still super affordable!

Kkongdon BBQ only serves fresh beef and pork cuts to customers.
Kimchi Pork Belly Stew with Steamed Rice
For as low as $7.50++, you can already have a filling lunch at Kkongdon BBQ. In fact, you’ll be spoilt for choice with all the items you can order from the Individual Set Menu. For our recommendation, go for the Kimchi Pork Belly Stew with Steamed Rice ($10++). It’s a very flavourful soup with a hint of spiciness; it’s also mixed with other ingredients to make this a rather complete dish. You can also try the Bibimbap Rice with Pork Bulgogi ($8++) and Korean Chicken Fried Rice ($7.50++) - typically prepared the Korean way of mixing ingredients with rice. There are many more items from the menu, which you can check out when you visit any of its establishments.
Kkongdon uses hi-tech air vents which prevent the food smell from sticking to you.
For bigger groups, you can save a few bucks when you order from the Group menu. For a minimum of 2 persons, get choose from Sets A to C which come with two types of meat and served with rice and kimchi tofu soup. As for the meats, there are pork, beef, and chicken; all these are guaranteed to be fresh so when you grill them, you can taste that they’re of good quality. These go well with their signature sauces which include chili, soy, sesame, and onion.
Ham and Sausage Hotpot
The last two sets are also worth mentioning for they bring warmth and comfort on the table: these are the Ham and Sausage Hotpot (Set D) and Beef Bulgogi and Vegetable Hotpot (Set E). Both are very filling soup dishes which are so big and generously filled with ingredients that they can feed a whole family.
Customers are free to take anything from the kimchi counter as long as they order set meals.
The sets also come with unlimited servings of kimchi and side dishes at the salad bar, so you really get your money’s worth.

Kkongdon BBQ also aims to be a place where families can enjoy a comforting meal together. They can order the ala carte items or for some meaty dinner, they can go straight for the Group Set Dinner. Grill away without the fear of smelling like food for the restaurant has these one-of-a-kind smoke vents which just suck the smoke away. For healthier grilled meats, it also uses a metal pan which is tilted to a 45 degree angle. Once the meat is cooking, the oil just slides down the pan and into a small compartment.
Kkongdon exudes a wholesome vibe to cater to a wide range of customers.
To appeal more to families, it’s designed to make you feel relaxed with its red brick walls, wooden flooring, and yellow lights. The seats are soft and very comfortable to sit on and together with the comfort food it offers, you may never want to leave this place.
