Lavender Food Square Stalls: Where are they going?

It’s been a year of foodie farewells with notable eateries like Longhouse and McDonalds @ King Albert Park closing for good. Today, we bid goodbye to well-loved Lavender Food Square, as the food centre and neighbour Eminent Plaza makes way for a 16-storey freehold development, slated to be ready by 2018. Update: While some hawkers such as owners of Albert Street Prawn Mee and Whitley Road Fish Ball Noodles are still looking for a new location, we’re relieved to hear that at least 13 of them have found new homes to resume business. Where are the Lavender Food Square stalls going? Here’s a list of their new locations.
