Lip-smacking North American Bistro Bites at BLooiE’s Roadhouse Bar & Grill

We all dread the daily grind sometimes. When this happens, don’t you just want to chill with your friends and enjoy some home-made and delicious food? You can do just that at BLooiE’s Roadhouse Bar & Grill located at Science Park II. We brought our lucky OpenRicers there for a relaxing after-work dinner made up of the delicious finds on the menu.

Excellent atmosphere to chillout with your buddies at BLooiE’s Roadhouse

Before the feast started, we oriented them first on this casual restaurant surrounded by lush greenery. BLooiE’s Roadhouse is founded in 2002 by Canadian expatriate, Sarge Sargeant, a Harley Davidson aficionado. However, he got the name of his establishment after his late canine friend (not his bikes). The interior is designed to be casual, hip and laid-back for people who enjoy great company in an informal setting. It also offers an American roadhouse dining experience - a first of its kind in Singapore.

From finger food to mains, you need not worry about satisfying your stomach

As for the food, the OpenRicers were able to try the BBQ Chicken Wings (top right) first – special homemade wings marinated in sweet and tangy sauce. Another pick was the freshly oven-baked Pepperoni Pizza (bottom right), which is made with homemade skinny dough that satiated their appetite. Besides bar bites, they had the American Cobb Salad (top left), which was topped with blue cheese and served with grilled Cajun chicken. As for our members’ favourite, most of them chose the Blackened Dory (bottom left) - marinated in Cajun spice and pan-seared to golden brown perfection.

Savour North Amercian signatures such as the BBQ Beer Butt Chicken

Taking centre stage on the dining table, the BBQ Beer Butt Chicken (left) impressed our members with the set up and presentation. The beer can was filled with a special concoction of spices and seasonings before it was stuffed up the marinated chicken’s butt. It’s grilled till crispy brown and succulent. For our meat-loving guests, the BLooiE’s Bacon Mushroom Burger (top right) was a dish they thoroughly enjoyed; it was layered with juicy meat patties, cheese, and served with a huge portion of Cajun fries. Those who were looking forward to beef steak, they couldn’t resist the flame-grilled N.Z. Striploin Steak (bottom right) when it was served on the table.

Great food like these are best enjoyed with great accompany and together with our OpenRicers, we had a fun-filled evening feasting our hearts out.
