Two Danish pastries and three new desserts have been added to gourmet bakery iBake’s menu, giving diners a wider range to choose from.
Freshly baked and served with a generous scoop of Haagen-Dazs Vanilla ice cream, the Danish pastries come in two flavours: Berry-Berries and Chocolate Banana. The former is sprinkled with crushed pistachios, while the latter is covered with almond flakes, cocoa shell and then lashed with chocolate sauce.
Of the other three new desserts, we’d recommend skipping the Tiramisu ($6.50 per cup) and Raspberry Tart ($5.80 per piece) and going straight for the Carrot Cake ($6.50 per slice), which holds a perfect amount of moisture and cream cheese frosting – putting on a fair fight against the best ones in the market.
Baked pot pies and hot gourmet sandwiches
While you’re there, dig into their selection of baked pot pies and bread baskets for a light lunch. For a cold rainy day, go for hot mains like Bacon & Potato Gratin, Poulet Cocotte Au Provence, as well as hot gourmet sandwiches available in Wagyu Beef Enoki and Smoked Ham Swiss Cheese variations.
