must-try durian treats
To the delight of many Singaporeans, the wait for the highly-anticipated Durian Season is finally over. The “King of the Fruit” however, has its fair share of haters and lovers, and for the latter, it’s no surprise we’ll see them licking those durian-stained finger tips so very often these few months. Our team at OpenRice has identified some rather interesting variations for the season so if you (we mean durian-lovers) are already salivating at the sound of Crispy Durian Ice Cream or Durian Crème Brulee, then join us for the ride!

Chocolate AND durian?! What better way to get the best of both worlds? (If you don't already know, those two make a wonderful combination.) Where to get it: Toby's - The Dessert Asylum, Parkway Parade, 80 Marine Parade Road #02-68/69/70, Singapore 449269 (Image from
