The hot and humid weather has left us feeling all bothered. To conquer the heat, we elevated the old-school 30 cents popsicles and made the easiest (and prettiest) guilt-free popsicles with ingredients that are easily available in the supermarket.
Switch it up with fruits of your choice or make this cold treat even healthier by substituting the Snapple juice with real fruit juice. Best of all, it’s a great way to trick your kids into eating more fruits!
This recipe makes 6 popsicles.
Ingredients:
2 Kiwis, sliced into thin pieces
8 Strawberries, sliced into thin pieces
1 Snapple Kiwi Strawberry juice
Sugar
Hot water
Method:
1. Layer and arrange the sliced fruits in the popsicle mould.
2. Dilute sugar in hot water. Mix 3 parts Snapple to 1 part sugar water. (This is because frozen Snapple would not be as sweet as before.)
3. Pour enough juice to cover all the fruits in the popsicle mould.
4. Insert popsicle sticks and pop them in the freezer for a few hours.
