Can’t find the perfect restaurant to please your mother-in-law? It’s not too late to make a reservation at one of these 10 restaurants listed below! From authentic Cantonese dim sum to one of the best steakhouses in Singapore, you’re sure to find the perfect place to dine this Mother’s Day.
1. Homecooked Goodness at TAO Seafood Asia
TAO Seafood Asia
Fondly named “Mrs Lee’s Favourites”, this menu is a curation by head chef of TAO, Chef Lee Tong Kuon, showcasing his wife’s (Mrs Lee) favourite dishes that he cooks for her at home. The Hakka-style TAO Pig Trotters with Sea Cucumber ($48++, good for 4) is a burst of homely flavours, tender from hours of braising and with rice wine and sea cucumber and best eaten with a side of white rice. Drizzle some of the brown sauce on top of the rice to have with the tender meat and you are good to go.
