Charcoal Grilled Homemade Hamburger Steak with Tomato, Cheese and Basil Sauce
The hamburger steak is quite juicy and meaty, and goes quite well with the plain looking tomato sauce. Steam Rice with Scallop and Soup ($19.50/ Set, $11.50/ Steam Rice with Scallop, $7/ Soup)
For the set, it comes with a choice of "Egg Soup" or Vegetable Soup". I have the vegetable soup which is quite gluey with lots of vegetables such as carrots, dried bean curd, okra and daikon. The steam rice is served in a bamboo steamer over a small stove. The rice (mixed with seaweed) is very soft and gives a hint of taste of the sea. The scallops are quite juicy.
Overall the food is still great as before. Service is not bad too. A great and quiet place to have good & affordable Japanese food in Orchard area.
