This time round, I tried the soup version because the last time I tried, the soup was really good so I reckoned the kway tiao soup would not affect the taste of the soup. There were some meat slices in it and the prawns were fresh. However, the soup did not taste as nice as compared to the soup without the kway tiao soaked in. The queue seem never ending, so I decided to give a try since that I am on leave on that day. While I was waiting in the queue, I saw most of the orders was for dry mee. So I decided to go for the dry prawn mee instead of soup mee. The portion is really huge and it only cost 3 dollars. The soup was enriched with the prawn taste but maybe that will explain why the prawn taste bland. I supposed they have used the prawn to cook the soup for hours.
