We ordered 2 popiah, one original and one with chilli and it went below expectation.Overall, the popiah tasted decent with juiciness packed but lacked the sweet punch and fragrance. Still not bad and not the worse I had!While waiting for the popiah to be ready, what caught my sight was the chicken skewers which was left hanging above the charcoal fire.The aroma from the wings was intriguing, not only that its glistening brown surface on the wings were the selling point as well.The marinade from the chicken was special, bringing some hints of ginger spices but not too heady. The wings were well handled, evenly roasted with drumlets separated from the wings.Snacks from Huat huat were decent as an overall but if I have to choose between wings or popiah, I will grab the wings instead.
