I wouldn't say that the small dishes are necessarily Taiwanese-style, but they are cooked on the spot. Hence, served hot.All their dishes are quite small, hence it's easy to accidentally over-order, however, they are all quite salty and tasty so there is no need to order too much. For a family of 4, we ordered 6 dishes and a soup, and that was overkill. Their chai po omelet is not bad and pairs with the porridge really well.
