Great World Economic Vegetable Rice Porridge

Tried this mixed vegetable rice for the first time. This is the only mixed vegetable rice in this food centre so there was quite a queue when i was there. The variety of dishes was alright. I was there quite late so some of the dishes have already sold out. I ordered braised tofu, ginger with pork and sweet & sour pork then asked for curry sauce for the white rice. This is the only mixed vegetable rice stall in this food centre. There is always a short queue during lunch. Some of my regular dishes at this stall are sweet and sour pork, braised egg tofu and sesame chicken. The sesame chicken is one of the better dish here. The chicken has got an aromatic sesame taste coupled with its tenderness. I did not quite like the sweet and sour pork though. The meat used was a bit too fatty to my liking. This was my first time ordering the mixed vegetable rice from this stall. There were quite a bit of dishes for selection. I decided to go with sweet & sour pork, stir-fried sliced meat with ginger and braised tofu. The tofu tasted a bit strange but the other 2 dishes tasted just fine. I paid a total of $3.30 for 2 meats and 1 tofu dishes. Though the pricing is slightly cheaper but i am quite certain i would not be coming back. …Read More
