the curry puff here has a thinner pastry than other places like tip top or old chang kee. the filling is alright but it's just potatoes. nothing else. no egg. i only like curry puffs with eggs. it's good for a quick bite but not really recommended. their other deep fried stuff like dough fritters and yam cakes are better. otherwise, i would give the curry puff a miss. their dough fritter is not bad. they also have the butterfly bun, but i didn't think it tasted that good.Read More

The pastries from Dough Culture make a Sunday morning breakfast so much better! It sells a wide variety of pastries, catering to the different preferences of different individuals, like for my family. Every member in my family has a favourite pastry and we would always purchase a wide assortment of pastries every fortnight. It can be quite heaty though. Thus we always try to go easy on the pastries :)Read More

Fried 'you tiao' from dough culture is one of the top seller and signature product. I like to eat this when it is slight hot. it is oily and taste greasy. however the overall taste is great. it is quite crispy! They have discount if you buy 3 or more so not really cheap if you just buy 1 or 2. the you tiao is really big! so it's worth it!Read More

it is hard to find yummy you tiao in singapore. back in those days where u see you tiao being sold along the road. i happened to chance upon dough culture while shopping at bugis junction. since it has been a while since i have eaten you tiao, i decided to give it a try. i bought one you tiao and sesame peanut ball. after taking one bite of the you tiao, i was hooked onto the taste. the you tiao was crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside. it wasnt too oily and the dough was very fragrant. i bought a cup of warm soya milk from a nearby stall and it went really well with my soya milk. the sesame peanut ball was also awesome, i love the sesame!!!this store really bring back good memories, a walk down through memory lane when we used to have you tiao with soya milk and porridge for breakfast...Read More
