Very good soup. Chilli version is nice but not spicy enough (even with lots of Chilli). I guess because they also sell laksa and Chilli mee, the ingredients they give is the same of all types of noodles, just with different soup or gravy. Of all the ingredients they pump into your bowl, I love their soft ribs ingredient most!!Read More

Their chilli mee is the only one in Singapore. Love their chilli so much with a bit of satay taste, don't know why. Their portion very generous with ribs, prawns, fish cake, tau pok and egg added with lots of chilli for $3, their soup also very tasty with prawn and ribs. i like this stall very much, got to be patient with them and nice food are meant to be waited. Their chilli indeed are unique and nice.Read More

I ordered the chilli prawn mee with bee hoon, topped with pork ribs, fish cake, tau pok and prawn. the Chili is the main attaraction in the bowl. It was not overwhelming and blends well with the nobee hoon to create a nice flavour that accentuates the taste of the bee hoon. THe chilli and the mee combined was so good, it leaves you wanting more. The soup was also impressive with the pleasant and distinct herb aroma. A good complement to the bowl of noodles. Read More

One of my ex-colleagues who is pregnant has a craving for Prawn Mee, so the usual ‘lunch team’ of friends has to accompany and drive her all the way from bukit timah area to golden mile food centre just to eat the famous Chung Cheng Prawn Mee. I ordered Dried Pork and Prawn with yellow noodle.Oh gosh, I told uncle ‘chilli put abit’ but ended up have one big pool of chili on my noodle , he may have heard it as “chilli put abit more”. Overall noodle is slighty too oily and salty for my liking but the prawn is big and fresh, pork soft bone is soft and tender. I like their prawn soup which is very flavourful and heavy aroma of prawns. Read More

This is a must eat stall whenever i am in this area. I went for dinner at about 7.30 pm. The stall was about to close. I ordered a big bowl of noodle ($4) that came with a lot of ingredients like pork ribs, prawns, boiled egg and beansprouts. I asked for extra chilli and they gave it generously. The chilli is not spicy at all. The soup given with the noodle has a nice prawn taste. Nice dinner. Read More
