Located on second floor of Chinatown Complex, I discovered a delicious while wallet-friendly Vegetarian Stall. Travelers Palm Vegetarian was not a new stall, yet it was my first time heard of it. Occupied a decent space, Wide-ranged Menu was impressive. In spite of fuss-free Economy Mixed Rice, the stall was also selling extensive Ala-Carte dishes which cooked by chef on the spot upon ordering. Waiting time was acceptable, rather promptly service.Main dish, Meehoon was springy and rich in flavour. Stir-fried until perfection, the mixture of assorted veggies and vegan meat was well-matched. Without darkening soy sauce, the taste remained fragrant and much straightforward humble. This plate of Meehoon can be served up to two persons, price was $6.00 for medium portion.Loaded not only with the usual actors such as Tomatoes, Ladyfingers, Eggplants and Long Beans, but also sweet chunks of yam, gravy was thickly tasty. Curry was not that spicy or heavy, without excessively use of Coconut Milk and Curry leaves. Best to accompany our main dish, Meehoon soaked up fully in broth. Sizzling hot while the Claypot served, it was reasonably priced at $12.00.Deep-fried till golden brown, the outlay was crisp funky. Buttery fragrance was obvious, well-coated with sinful fattening gravy. But it was not greasy at all, taste was so greatly nice. Curry leaf was to enhance the flavour, lettuce at the bottom as dressing. Price was $8.00, pleasant serving.Pretty decorated, appearance was mouthwatering and attractive tempting. Tofu was pan-fried, texture was thinly crisp at skin and silky soft inside. Broccolis were put aside, definitely a healthy dish. Minced bread crackers were drizzled on top, sweetly crunchy, matched to plainly tofu faultlessly. Price wise, we asked for small version which costed $5.00. Overall, I was quite satisfied the food, service, environment even price. The place was undeniably a good choice for vegan, not bad.Read More
