A lot of ingredients were given in the noodle and different types of fish balls - meat, vegetable and fish ball. Comes with mushroom and others. The taste of fish Balls and soup was really good! Service is fast as well compared to others despite having very long queue. Will definitely be back to try the laksa which looks really good when I saw someone else ordered this.Read More

This fishball noodle stall always have a long queue especially during lunch and dinner time. Even during the less busy timing between 3pm - 5pm, it still has a short queue. The mincemeat noodles is really nice as they not only mix the sauces properly but all the ingredients are very fresh and the braised mushroom is very yummy. Read More

went to kovan and get the kuay teow soup from this teochew fishball mee stall. the queue in the morning still okay, compared to the lunch time hours (they have long queues and waiting time might take about 10-15mins) whereas i waited for about 10mins. it is a big portion of kuay teow, big thickly-sliced mushrooms, the fishball is bouncy chewy, if can add more fish cake it will be more attractive. soup base so-so.Read More

It was highly recommend by my loved one, This teochew fishball mee stall is the only stall @ kovan food market which has a long queue so I thought it would be worthwhile waiting for...Anyway, the queue is quite fast moving, and it was truely worth waiting for!! However, the noodles here really taste awesome! With generous servings of mushrooms, teochew fishball, fishballs, and pig liver, I also must rave about the noodles!! My Monthly once a time dish...THUMBS UP FOR THE MEEPOK!!Read More

Laksa...Yes, the gravy is truly wonderful. That is the flavour that makes every mouthful a delightful experience, and this is what I usually go for when I eat here unless I'm feeling heaty!!Be warned though that the queue lines here are crazy - be prepared to wait at least 15-20min during peak hours (lunchtime/dinnertime)Try their Mee Pok too... Only $3.50, it was a worthwhile meal.Read More

Besides the usual fishball noodles and mee pok, this stall also serves up really decent laksa for $3.50 per bowl. The laksa gravy is really thick and fragrant which goes well with the smooth bee hoon served in it. They also do no scrimp on the ingredients in each bowl- there are generous portions of beansprouts, fish cake, cockles and tau pok to complement each meal. Though the laksa gravy looks really red, it's not too spicy and you are also given some chili paste to add if you prefer a bowl of fiery hot laksa!Read More

This particular draws crowds and the queue can stretch pretty long, so be prepared to wait at least 15 minutes. Is it worth the wait? i think their bowl of noodles is really affordable and yummy and I would usually patronize this stall. In this particular visit, I ordered a $3 bowl of fishball noodles with mee kia noodles tossed in ketchup sauce. They probably have the most generous servings of ingredients you can find in a bowl of mee kia. The fishballs: two fresh fishball, one mixed fishball and one meatball and really fresh and chewy. They also include several slices of fresh chewy fishcakes and lots of pork bits and mushroom slices. All this for just $3! The ketchup sauce was also tossed pretty well and with a few stirs, it was evenly spread over every strand of springy, chewy noodles. It is no wonder why people keep coming back to this stall for their noodle fix!Read More

It was a Sunday evening and a long long queue was spotted right in front of this noodle stall. I counted, there was about 12 people waiting in the queue. The noodle must be good to have these many people willingly queuing up. I decided i should join in. I waited for about 20 minutes to order my bowl of fishball noodle. I was given an option to choose between a smallest bowl at $3.00 or a bigger bowl at $4.00. After waited for such a long while in queue, i decided to go for the bigger bowl. I requested for extra chilli to be added.A large bowl came with 2 different types of fishballs of different sizes, slices of fish cake, minced meat and braised mushroom. The portion was substantial to fill up a very hungry stomach. The mee pok got a springy texture and when tossed it well with the chilli, it tasted quite good. With that many people in the queue, how wrong can it be?Read More
