Pontian wanton mee is my favourite wanton mee. What I like about their wanton mee is the mee (noodles) as it springy and it doesn't become soggy even I take away it. But the portion is too small, so sometimes, I would add noodles. There is ketchup, chilli, black sauce base for the mee. I always choose only chilli. I love their chilli as it is slight spicy and sweet. The cha siew is thinly sliced, hich I like as I don't like too thick cha siew. I always choose the soupy wanton, as I find the fried one too oily. Don't really the wanton as it is too small, and very little meat in it. Read More

Went there to buy quick meal at lunch time. Just bought only Wantan noddles (dry), costs at $4.00 for packet. They provided set meal, Wanton with coffee/tea/dessert at $4.50. Paid first and queue with the ticket no: in slip. The noddles got dried when back to my office. But they gave the soup with bolied wantons too.Taste is just average, the staffs are very friendly and quick service.I love both boiled and dried wanton.Read More

Graffiti Cafe is a good and affordable place to have a meal when you are in Orchard, and pontian wanton noodles, having so many different stalls and branches across singapore, would make a safe choice. True enough, it didn't disappoint as a fuss-free and quick meal. The noodles were a little lumpy and soggy, but still springy. The skin of the fried wantons was crispy thin, better than the soup ones. They could do with more veggies though.Read More

Pontian noodles here at Grafitti cafe is one of the more affordable and filling options in Orchard area. It is also very delicious and it has maintained its standard over the years. Loved the noodles which are springy and flavourful. I don't really like the fried wanton because well it's fried and I don't like fried food a lot. So usually I'll throw them into the soupy wanton bowl and make it less crispy. My recommended combi of the sauce is the Black Sauce only option, because I think the tomato sauce masks the beauty of the black sauce. There is a set A or set B option (both $4.50). Set A means the bowl of noodles + soup + coffee/tea, Set B means bowl of noodles + soup + dessert (a few options available like black glutinous, tau suan, red bean soup, but no cold desserts :<) The serving of the noodles here is slightly larger than the other Pontian outlets. Love the wanton mee at graffiti café especially the black sauce dry wanton mee!;DIf it were to be priced at a lower price, I supposed would have bought it at least once a week.Nonetheless, it is considered pretty affordable at $3.50 a bowl. The portion isn’t a lot but it is enough to fill us up for a light dinner. The waiting time was within 5 mins when there isn’t a crowd. The fried wanton is crispy ;D However the noodles that day was a little too dry and we had to add some soup to it.Liked the black sauce a lot and the wanton filling here is special compared to those elsewhere. ;DRead More

Graffiti Cafe only sells one main course which is the Pontian Wanton Noodles. I decided to order myself a small size, they have two sizes $3.50 for small and medium i think is $4.50. As i was not too hungry, the small size was just right for me. I like their wanton noodles, the noodles is very springy. There char siew was not too thinly sliced. they were pretty generous with their wanton too. I went around lunch time so had to wait pretty long for my order.Read More

This Pontian place happens to be one of my lunch places at Far East. Here in Orchard, it is hard to look for something that is cheap and below $5.00, comes with fried and crispy wanton. Pontian Wanton noodles happened to be below that price and I really like it that it is affordable too. Also, you can order a set with a dessert and a tea or coffee if you will like too. I will usually order that as it is very worth it. What’s more? You get to choose the sauce with your wanton mee if you want it spicy, tomato or black sauce. Read More

I've only been in this outlet twice as I usually frequent the one at Cuppage Plaza (Somerset Area) more. I really like the place. It's dim. Almost grimy, in fact. Graffiti all over the walls and tables. I feel that this is one of the best ways to showcase the works of local graffiti artists without getting into any form of legal trouble. After all, graffiti hasn't really been accepted not only in Singapore but all over the world. Simply put, it's illegal. Just imagine how much time and how many people see those artworks daily! The service in this outlet wasn't really as fast as the one at Cuppage Plaza. I noticed that the staff here were younger and less experienced while the ones at Cuppage Plaza were really more seasoned. Believe me, I eat there at least 5 times a month. Hence, it's easy to say that what they offer at Cuppage Plaza is simply superior to the one at Far East.I also observed that because the counter (where you order and pick up your food) was so high, shorter (in height) customers have trouble ordering and picking up their food. Well, it does not affect me, right? Why care? In the end, I just really want my bowl of Wanton Noodle! Read More

Went for dinner at the Graffiti cafe on a Thursday evening because my friend is a huge fan of it.Personally, I found nothing special about it. It tasted average to me, or even not as good as other wanton noodles I've tried that are nowhere as famous.I bought the noodles, together with a canned drink. I actually asked for green tea, only to find out they ran out of it when I got to the fridge. However, the staff did not even bother to inform my friend and I, which I found dissatisfying.Overall, I felt that it was an average experience at an average eating place serving average food. Nothing impressive.Read More

Went to far east for lunch. Saw this place selling Pontian Wanton Mee.They now come with set meal.Set A ; Wanton Mee with coffee or tea.Set b ; Wanton Mee with dessert.Decide to choose set B. They have a few dessert for u to choose.Cost $4.50.Pay and took my recipt with number. They should have let you choose to have your dessert after your wanton mee but instead they will give you the dessert first and wait for your wanton mee. The boss should think of this. As people may like to eat their dessert later. If you took your dessert first and eat later. Your dessert may not be nice. The wanton mee come as the same as their other outlets in Singapore. So I end this as to say that their wanton mee is normal and their set meal order should have a custom make like let the customer choose when to eat their dessert. :( :(Read More

Had my lunch here with my colleague. There are 2 kinds of set meals for u to choose from. :) 1 comes with the noodles, soup, coffee or tea, and the other is noodles, soup and dessert whereby there are four kinds of dessert for u to choose. I chose the 1 that comes with drink and big bowl of noodles which cost $5. The smaller bowl is $4.50.1 thing is that they are not flexible with is the drinks, i was thinking might be able to change to cold drinks by topping up, however, the aunty told me unable to. :(:(:(:( So, i chose tea. I don't eat boiled wanton, so got my colleague to take it. On the otherhand, i'm thinking, my next time there i shall ask whether able to omit the boiled wanton and replaced it with the fried ones. This is a memorable dining moment for me because we first drawn on the table after we ate and it's not some crime to do that!It is because this is a Grafitti Cafe where you can anyhow scribble, draw with your own pen, markers on the wall, table, chairs, however floor i dont think so! haha (:This wanton mee is very famous as it is spread across Singapore everywhere, even hawker centre, and i remember there's a stall in heeren few years back, now it's gone! This is the wanton mee with chilli and black sauce! You can choose to add either one or both of them, but their signature is adding both of them. (:It's priced at $3+, you can call for side order too, just fried wan ton with mayo! (: Look what we did after eating! It's creativity time! haha! You should show off your art talent over at this restaurant and next time you come again, you show it to your friends that your master artpiece is still over there! The environment is spacious, and is a nice place, so do the service!Read More

Definitely one of the best Wanton Noodles I've tried. There's always a long queue here and you'll be given a queue number which will be shown electronically when your food is ready.Waiting time isn't too long either. The wanton noodles come with a generous amount of char siew and wanton in it and although it is rather oily, it taste really delicious! The chilli goes very well with the noodles as well.Great place to chill out with a bunch of friends over a great meal!Read More

Long queue on a week night but the service was fast. This is one of the better wanton noodles I have had. Was asked what sauce I want...told the cashier I wanted everything because I didn't know what I want. Taste great! What I love best is the fried wanton. I'm not a char siew lover but this one is good...it doesn't go into the gap of my teeth. Best of all, it's cheap considering the location! Small bowl is only $3.50.Read More
