Old Chang Kee

I came to realize that not all Old Chang Kee outlet provide breakfast menu. So when I happen to pass by the outlet at velocity, I decided to stop and grabbed something from there. I choose to have their nasi lemak chicken set, comes with chopped pieces of chicken, a thin slice of egg and a nicely packed ikan bilis and peanut/chili sauce eparately from the rice. At $2, it is reasonable to me as I like the taste of the chopped chicken bits and surprisingly their rice smells good too. Portion is okay as it keeps me free from hunger all the way till lunch. The FoodWhile I was on my way to work, I decided to go Old Chang Kee to order my favourite fried bee hoon. The bee hoon is fried with a rich and concentrated braised stock hence the taste is fantastic and not too salty. I always order just the bee hoon alone as it so good even eating on its own with just their special made chilli which also taste very nice and not so spicy. First time to drop by here after it was moved from level 1. The whole place looks brighter, cleaner and there was a change in the menu. Decided to order the beef stew noodle as it looks tempting ~~ I was handed a round device and was told to wait to be called. In about less than 5min, the round device beep and started vibrating with red lights. The serving was huge!! The noodle was not as Q and taste abit soft. The stew however was great.
