Ordered the mango roll and almond paste with my friends. The mango roll is really awesome you won't regret ordering! It is a cold dessert and the mango was really sweet! Almost paste was good as well because it was quite a thick paste and not watery unlike some of the other dessert shops. Read More

THis is my favourite hot dessert here from this famous dessert shop.  Restaurant is quite cooling but was alittle too squeezy.  The service here was quite fast but not really that friendly and quite impatient when you asked questions on the food products on their food menu.  For less than $4, this dessert is definitely worth the price.  Soup was not too sweet and full of the natural fragrant from the papaya.  The fungus are not too hard and quite chewy.  Red dates have added that mild sweetness to this dessert as well.  Yummy!Read More

For chinese dessert, black sesame pasta is one of my favourite and occasionally i will like to include "tang yuan" into it. Last month during the Valentine's Day was also "Dong Zi" so after my facial, i decided to get some desserts home to enjoy with family. It was a great chance to get my favourite dessert too.For hot dessert, please enjoy it while it's hot then it's nice! I was enjoying my black sesame paste which has a very fragrant and smooth texture. The tang yuan filling was sesame too so i was secretly feeling very happy when i took my first bite. Look at the yummy black sesame paste oozing out from the tan yuan, super shiok! Now as i write this review, i start to have cravings again! Haha! Read More

Went there for shopping with a fren and her nephew. And after shopping for toys, my fren had crave for Chinese dessert. We decided to drop by this outlet to enjoy some yummy dessert. I ordered a black glutinous rice dessert. Nice to look at and i feel that it would taste even better if it's warm so that the coconut ice-cream would melt. Peanut and black sesame paste~ yummy! Texture is smooth and it's not too sweet. Love it! :)Read More

I ordered takeaway at Sheng Kee, a set of wanton noodles and a piece of yam cake; first time trying their cooked food as I've always had desserts there. The portion of noodles was quite little, but the wantons exceeded my expectations and were quite tasty. The yam cake was good as well, not too salty and you could taste the bits of dried shrimp added. The set came with almond paste as well, although the portion was too little.Read More

we walk around NEX and decide to settle down at Sheng Kee Dessert for some desserts..Mango Pamelo Sago, I find this nice, the mango puree is quite thick and has lots of mango cubes and pamelo in it..Mango Pamelo Herbal Jelly.. I never taste this but this is something that my BIL will order when he dine here..Avocado Float, this is nice too, I am not a fan for avocado but this is nice with the vanilla ice-cream.. the taste is nice and the texture is smooth.Carrot Cake, never try this but hubby says okPrawn Mango Roll, the prawn is fresh and crunchy and the mango is sweet, nice combination.Durian Crispy Roll, I find this quite special, the durian puree wrap with Spring roll skin is great, the skin is crispy and the durian filling is sweet and fragrant. But I think best eaten when its still hot..Shrimp Beancurd Skin, ok, normal, not oily and niceThe custard Pau here is nice and the custard is those watery type that will flow out when cut open.. I like this kind of custard pau..The service here is great, the staffs here are friendly and nice but, I do not like the open concept dining here, a little weird to have people looking at you when you are eating and they do not have a lot of seatings here. Overall, great place for desserts. Will definitely come back for more again.Read More

I went to sheng kee for dinner since my mom wanted to, ordered each a set and upgraded with the extra $1.90 for either the desserts/snacks or the drink.find the taste of wanton noodle was just nice, just that there too little sauce, but the wantons are just sweet enough :) if only the mango pomelo sago was alittle more icely and colder, might taste nicer, but still taste abit too sweet that you might need to drink water after finishing a bowl of it. carrot cake was soft and mushy inside while crunchy on the skin surface. I really like desserts, so I'll make an attempt to try different desserts even though I visit the same store or chain. I have tried Sheng Kee a couple of times, and their mango pomelo sago is not bad. This time, I ordered the black glutinous rice with coconut ice cream, which costs around $4+. The combination of black glutinous and coconut was good, and it wasn't too sweet. But could be quite jelat after finishing half of it.Read More

I don't really like their dessert,as i find their mango a bit sourThis shop is self service, there's order paper on each table, just fill up & go to cashier pay money& collect it,sometime if there's not much customer, they will serve to usMango Sago -the mango taste rather sourish instead of sweet which makes this dessert a disappointment in taste.mango pudding-is very smooth & sweet,i prefer this more than the mango sagoPrice range consider average for hk dessert, the shop is quite small,so sometimes it's hard to get a seat here during peak hoursRead More

Attracted by the wide range of deserts on their display, I decided to step in to Sheng Kee Dessert to satisfy my dessert cravings. FOODOrdered their traditional red bean paste. The paste was thick, coupled with the sweet-smelling scent of Orange Skin (橙皮) , red beans, and lotus seeds. delicious indeed!Mango Crystal Pearls & Grass Jelly. It encompasses thick ice, mango, some jelly-like pearls and grass jelly. Although mango was abit sour, the refreshing taste has helped to balance it out.. Great desert to refresh one's self! Menu 1Menu 2SERVICEThe service was okay. Neither great nor bad, but fast and efficient in clearing stuffsPRICEIt's abit pricey, but it's more worth it for their signature deserts where you couldnt find it elsewhere. My friend and I spent $9.90 in total on both bowl of deserts.AMBIENCEIt's quite crowded and noisy during peak hours.Read More

I love the desserts they have here! Tried the lau sa bao and it was really good! one bite and the juice starts flowing so you have to be careful when eating this! Had the yam sesame balls as well and it tasted nice and special too! The mango glutinous rice was superb but didn't get to eat it this time cos it's out of order anymore :( It is a must try in this shop and the dessert tasted sweet :)Read More

My friends and I came here to chill and really enjoyed the desserts. The glutanious mango was really nice, the outside was really soft and Q and the mango inside was sweet. The almond paste was also nice. They offer main meals such as noodles and rice and can complete the set with a dessert and drink which looks quite worth it. I will definately go back and try the other desserts and eat the glutanious mango again. Read More

One of the best dessert shops I've ever been to! The mango glutinous rice and the lau sa bao is a must try! The lau sa bao is really juicy, be careful when you take the first bite though because the juice will flow! For the yuan yang sesame balls, the taste is also not bad. The tables are a bit too packed though so there's little space to walk. Overall the experience is still a good one.Read More

We went to HK Sheng Kee for afternoon tea the other day. I ordered the hot Yuan Yang ($2). I reckon it tastes pretty alright. The fragrance of the tea is well-balanced with the aroma of the coffee. Quite authentic. On the other hand, Mango Freeze ($3.90) is quite ordinary. The mango taste is not as rich as I expected. But overall speaking, this icy drink is very refreshing still. Read More

It has a $6.80 value meal which consists of a snack of either carrot cake or yam cake, a choice of noodle and a choice of dessert. For noodle/rice, you can choose dry noodle with mince pork, noodle with char siu or pork belly rice. For dessert you can pick sesame paste, almond paste or red bean. The noodles are like those HK style and you get a separate bowl of soup if you order dry version. This is a value for money set which you can also takeaway.Read More
